Well, of course, the first tip right off the bat would be to go to The Omega Ruins. And, it would even help greater if you equipped your weapons with Double or Triple AP...

*Thinking of another tip*

There is this AP Trick involving Tonberries, Overdrive to AP, and a few other things... but you're probably not at that point yet.

Do you mean using the ability called Overdrive to Ap as well as other abilities such as triple AP?
I it doesn't work cause what happens during trying to do it is the rate you can get AP each time at gets lower and lower as you keep on doing, do you know what I mean?

No, there is an AP cheat

I'll post it...so wait

EDIT: Using this cheat will allow you to recieve 99 sphere levels in one battle! Here goes...

This is going to sound confusing, but just bear with me for a minute. And I believe that you can only have three characters at a time earn 99 sphere levels in one battle.

First off, set two of your chosen characters overdrive to stoic , and the other character to comrade .

Second, decide which three characters you want to see earn the sphere levels. This next part may be difficult for you if you don't have the necessary items: Customize all three characters weapons with the Overdrive->AP ability. Also, customize all three characters weapons with the Triple Overdrive ability.

Finally, fight Don Tonberry at the Monster Arena. Have the two characters with the Stoic Overdrive attack Tonberry. By doing this, Don Tonberry will counter with Karma, killing those two characters. After these two characters are dead, revive them with the character who has the Comrade Overdrive

And this is it. But you may be wondering what this does and how it works. Well, I'm here to explain that to you as well:

Every time one of your two attacking characters strike Don Tonberry, he counters with Karma, instantly killing you. By having your two attacking characters set with the Stoic Overdrive , it would just charge up your Overdrive. However, with Overdrive->AP customized to your two attacking characters weapons, it increases the amount of AP that you recieve dramatically.

Got all that? Good, because I am not explaining that again.

That's almost what I meant though I meant setting your character's overdrive mode to Ally or Daredivil.

What I thought was exactly same as except for killing your characters.

As Daredevils and All enable you to charge whenever you turn comes, you can just keep on guarding charging overdrive gauge.
Therefore I came up with the idea using the abilities:Overdrive to AP and Triple AP.
I thought whenever your characters do something with those abilities and overdrive mode, it would gain huge amount of AP, but it's impossible to do it actually. why? cause the rate your characters can get AP by doing it at gets less and less as you keep on doing it, so even if you do it for 10minutes or something, you can level up just 3 to 4, I think, however this method is possible in some versions of FF10 but not in INternational.

Okay, thanks for explaining, Smokey, I kind of gave up my hope when I tried the above method and didn't work.

I done the method a long time ago, it's always good to have a turbo controller handy for whatever the situation is. 8)
