whats the best ff7 boss fight

I would have to say the first boss in the game , "The Sweeper" I love that boss.

I really like the very last battle of the game against sephiroth, when u use omnislash and kill him pretty much instantly

I like the battle against some genova just after Aeris dies, cause the music is beautiful and really suits that situation.

I like the battle with Sephiroth at the very end. Omnislash did the job.

I dont like the Bosses that are too easy to beat. A boss liek Demon Wall is more of my favourite.

U knw wut... I like both the last battle and the Jenova fight. they were both kewl and the music both was beautiful and was for that situration (I Cryed like a lil bytch when Aeris died) but my fav I would have to say was the fight against Bizzaro Seph... becuz unless u had the Knights of Round summon it was hard as hell :D and it was fun too

Materia keeper is my fav boss.

The first time around I couldn't kill him til I leveled up heaps

on my first time through it was the final sephy battle where you get to use omnislash, because i hadn't ever seen it used. but other than that i would agree with 1_winged_angel. i dont like fights that are rediculously easy. so i would have to say either sephiroth bizzaro or one of the weapons.

For some reason, Dyne is a favorite boss for me, then Prob palmer coz i really dont like him so i wanted to hurt him.

Carry Armour is hard, im only at level 42ish, and he keeps picking my characters up, oh well i shall persevere.

I like any battle against the turks!

I seemed to like the battle against Jenova Death in the Whirlwind Maze. (I hate the one after Aeris dies, I cried like hell and so did my friends. I think of Sephiroth as cool, but the death was not meant to be) In that battle I took out my revenge after the fight with Jenova Life.

I like Palmer's battle cause when you beat him , you run him over with the tiny bronco :D

The battle against Reno on top of the tower, and the battle against the three Turks in Midgar.

My favorite boss battles would have to be the 5 battles in wutai against Gorki, Shake, Chekhov, Staniv, and Godo because its challenging

I liked fighting diamond weapon

Hes so big and easy to beat. Specially for a weapon. But he looks cool

at the final battle where u suppose to use omnislash, if u dont use it and just stand there sephiroth does the attack. he does like 9600 damage. i just wanted to see what happens if i don't use omni so i waited to see the he hit me, and my cloud had counter attack materia so as soon as sephiroth hit cloud did counter attack and it did like 326 damage because ultima weapon was shrinked to size of dagger ;p well sephiroth died after that counter attack ;; was like -.-;; wtf no~ i wasted omni.

Those are all creditable Boss Fights but on the Level of Difficult which made these my favorite boss fights was the Weapons. Hands down some of the most difficult bosses in a while. And fun to try to get to them. If I had to pick another definitly the Jenova fight after Aeris Dies. You were right that music still brings a tear to this big softys eyes.

Yes that was funny.
I suggest you cast Haste on him and see what happens.
You should also wait till he runs out of MP, which makes him do stupid things.

i like the fight with hojo at midgar that was a fun battle when he transforms that was a fun one for me

Any fight against the Turks is my favorite. So is fighting Materia Keeper. I don't know why though..

I like the boss battle which require a small amount of strategy.
So, usually I don't continually level up to make things a bit trickier, and the two that stand out in my mind are Lost Number and Shizo (the two header inside the Gaea cliffs).
And obviously the two American weapons.

I agree with 777 here, the jenova after Aerith's death. The way I played it, it was almost like a movie. Cloud had the water ring so he took no damage, but the other two were killed first attack and I just didn't bother to revive them. It was like cloud was taking out all his anger on this thing. The music was perfect for it to, preserving the moment.

Emerald weapon. I enjoyes beating him cause of the satisfaction :D

My favorite would be the battle of Jenova*Death after Aerith's death. It was so sad!

Also the final battle between Sephiroth and Cloud. I just love how its pretty much silent, and the limit bar is slowly filling up and then you choose omnislash and cloud goes nuts! i love that part.. and Safer Sephiroth battle.. the music was beautiful!

yeah, safer Sephiroth's music was really cool. They actually used a choras for it, said so in the credits. (Don't ask how I know this, I only looked through them at the end of the game once. I tend to pick stuff like this up.) It's called one winged angel, nice to listen to every so often, it's under classics here. (http://www.vgmusic.com)

Oh and to add one more, I liked fighting ultima weapon as well, I just loved following it with the highwind and then crashing into it!
