CALIBRO 35
FEATURING THEMES BY
Franco Micalizzi, Luis Bacalov, Ennio Morricone, Armando Trovajoli, Guido & Mauricio DeAngelis and others!

FOR THE FANS OF ITALIAN FUNK AND '60s & '70s POLIZIESCHO MOVIE MUSIC!

From digging in dusty vinyl crates for obscure samples to the airwaves of Italy’s most important music radio station, Italian indie funk combo CALIBRO 35 have taken quite a sonic journey. The discovery of Italian '60s and '70s soundtracks in 2007 was the inspirational springboard for the formation of this five-piece band helmed by Tommaso Colliva (Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Arto Lindsay) and his musical cast of characters: Massimo Martellotta (Stewart Copeland) on guitars and steel guitars, Enrico Gabrielli on keyboards, brass and flute, Fabio Rondanini on drums and Luca Nano Cavina on bass.

UPLOADERS NOTE:
Okay, this is something different. It's not technically a film music, but I'm posting it here anyways. These are film themes recreated and played by the italian band called Calibro 35. Themes doesn't sound exactly like they were composed and recorded for the film, but rather band adds their own touch to the music. They often add their own punk / noise / funk elements to the tracks, while respecting the original composition and preserving their original feel. And did I mention it has a fuckin' balls?
I have purchased all their albums, so if there is interest, I can upload them later.

If you're still confused what the heck is this, check out this sample: Calibro 35 - Gangster story - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqsUA_uYGUI)

Also, if you like the music, please consider buying it! The album can be bought at their website for only 12€.
