The best series that has been done on Robin Hood is, without a doubt: Robin of Sherwood from the mid 1980s. In it's 26 episodes we can find history, adventure, action, mystery, mythology, romance, magic and more... An english legend played by english actors, with locations in the United Kingdom and Irish musicians. With a mix like that, the magic of the legend comes alive.

The music for Robin of Sherwood was composed and performed by Clannad, the Irish folk group. The show's original soundtrack, Legend, was released in 1984 and won the BAFTA award for Best Original Television Music (From Wikipedia).

Listening the musical themes, we can hear the characters speak directly to us, with a wonderful Celtic style, the sound of the score is a story by itself. Unfortunately not all the music was included on the disc "Legend". We can only hear 32:50 minutes of music in 10 tracks, being able to have completed more the disc, even in a current version that the fans we have not seen till now.

In November 2003, Clannad revealed on their official web site that "there were several other pieces of music recorded for the third series of Robin of Sherwood that were not included on the Legend album. Unfortunately no-one has been able to locate the master tapes of this music. The search is continuing and hopefully one day these recordings will be able to be released." Fortunately I can offer you the original soundtrack with 8 more inedit tracks, that I'm sure there will be a pleasure for the fans of Robin of Sherwood. The sound quality is very good, as if it was a part of the original disc. The unreleased music is labeled as "Bonus Track" and there are 7 tracks in total (11 - 17). The track 18 is a Celtic song from the album "Macalla" produced in 1985.

Hello. A friend gave me recently the bonus tracks as change for another music than I provided him. This is a way in which I can get unreleased and rare music. The other is by edition that I do, and of being like that, I award the work.
