:bearclap: Truly wonderful work from Kodo.

Definitely worth grabbing.
The movie even more so since there is much more music throughout the film and while campy in every aspect, very damned enjoyable. :awsm:

The bullet train scene is outstanding and needs to be on blu-ray.
The action, the cinematography, the music, everything about that scene is completely enrapturing.

Thank you! I think I lost mine.

Great find, thank you, Yannis!!
Yes, the train-sequence is still one of the best and outstanding actionscenes ever! I couldn't belive it when I watched the movie the first time, it was absolutely thrilling!! "The Hunted" on Blu Ray would be great :D

You can't get more Japanese than this music. I've seen Kodō play on their home turf of Sado island. It's a spectacular sight for the eyes as well as aurally. The word "kodō" is a play on words: "heartbeat" the primal source of all rhythm and, read in a different way, the word can mean "children of the drum," a reflection of Kodō's desire to play their drums simply, with the heart of a child. The Matsuri (festival) track is very infectious and was taken from a live performance in the film. Pity about the synthesizers, but thankfully they are kept to a minimum. Many thanks Yannis.
