Capcom Music Generation Rockman X1~6 [FLAC] [CPCA-1076~80] 5DISC BOX

Second release of the weekend, and this one's a real tickler. The complete Rockman X works (X through to X6) laid out on five discs for a grand total of 241 tracks. Enough to blow your pants off.
The cherry on top is the slightly odd and very typical-japanese engrish spelling of the tracks. To this day I'm not sure if this is an actual mistake or an intentional prank. So if someone has more information in this regard please let us know.

So there you have it, just over five hours of glorious Rockman music. I've uploaded each of the CDs individually as well as an 'all in one' pack for those of you sitting on a good enough connection.
All hail Keiji Inafune for his blue bomber and the endless hours of fun (albeit it sometimes being frustrating and down right punishing) and splendid razor-edge sharp game play.

I wish you all a continuously splendid and relaxing weekend whereever you might be. Kampai!

Personal rip taken from my own physical collection. Includes cover, logg, cue & playlist. Please support your favorite artist by purchasing their work.
Feel free to PM me if you have requests for re-up, random questions, or just want to talk about the glory that is Bill Murray.
Dowload link and password available in spoiler below. Files provided in 7zip package and hosted by MEGA.
Please remember to change _7z to .7z in file name. And folks, remember. Whisky, cats and coffee is the only true way of life.

WARNING: The complete file download clocks in @ just over 2Gb. - I will update the post later with part-files for those of you equipped with lesser internet.

Just like you I own this and the Famicom Rockman 1-6 too. I still can't over how good capcom is when it comes to their game's soundtracks. Hopefully someone is awesome and rips CPCA-10264~73 | ROCKCAN Sound E Can (Rockman 25th Anniversary) - VGMdb (http://vgmdb.net/album/33749) one day before I can buy it.

I recommend anyone to get this.. Even if they don't play Megaman at all.

By chance, that ROCKCAN is actually standing right beside me and I'm in the process of ripping it (will take a couple of hours).

Yeah, they're REAL good when it comes to their soundtracks. /sarcasm

I guess that's why Mega Man 1 and 2 are totally destroyed on the E Can (especially MM2). So much distortion that's NOT suppose to be there. How in the world did they manage not to notice it before releasing that overpriced garbage can? What a joke.

And the 2002 1~6 Capcom CDs are a fuzzy buzzy crap pile. Instead, get this (awesome) guy's hardware rip of MM1&2 and compare them to the Capcom CDs: Thread 137397

(Obviously my hostility isn't directed at you, but Capcom. Man, are they screwing up bad lately. I hate them as a business.)

Not sure if as to describe it as fuzzy but I get the picture you're trying to draw. I've done a side to side comparison (mostly on the RM2 OST) and it is not present in all of the tracks but yes. You hardly notice it if you just listen on through though. I'd describe it as a slightly dirty sound. As if they're actually trying to replicate the mono-tastic sound of a regular old picture tube TV.
I would hardly call it a screw up, just adds a little character in the same way listen to a good vinyl does. While the sound might not be perfect, there's a warmth to it that's not commonly found on a digital release.

Funny thing is, that very same sound is all but gone when you listen to the secondary tracks on the CDs (the ones taken from the Playstation releases).
But that's enough of my rant. I respect your opinion and it is valid.

And on the progress of the rip. Four more CDs to go. Six down.

??? In the first paragraph I thought you were talking about CPCA-1064~6 | Capcom Music Generation Famicom Music Complete Works... - VGMdb (http://vgmdb.net/album/255) (that's the release I was calling fuzzy), but in your second paragraph it's as if you were talking about the E Can all along. The E Can MM1&2 are NOT fuzzy, they have other much worse weird sounds going on. It's definitely not right.

I think i mixed things up a bit, yes. But funny thing is, if you actually DO compare the E-can to the direct line game rip there's a slight difference there as well.
Personally I don't own the Capcom Music Generation Famicom Music Complete Works Rockman 1~6 box, only listened to it a few years back so don't really remember much about the audio quality. But I'll take your word for it :)

You're confusing me so much, man. :p Yes, I've been saying all along that there is indeed a difference between a proper rip (like Goat's) and the E Can 1&2. If you call the messed up sounds of the E Can MM2 "slight", then you must not be very familiar with how it's suppose to sound. It's like some one played them through a damaged famicom, or an old emulator, or used a botched NSF rip, or something. There's nothing "slight" about it. They messed up one of the greatest classic VGM soundtracks of all time on it's overpriced 25th anniversary box set, and some one deserves to be fired for it (or at least deserves a very good talking to). I guess it's not very surprising considering how Capcom has been treating Mega Man for the past five years or so. I really hope they go bankrupt in the near future (and not just because of Mega Man), or at least give back Mega Man to Keiji Inafune, or anyone with even a little bit of sense and heart.

Edit: Looks like I'm not the only one hearing this http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/rockcan-sound-e-can-rockman-1~10-ost-121026/2.html#post2164374

No the general hate is towards the Rockman 1~6 compilation disc (http://vgmdb.net/album/255) from 2002. The E-can is much better sounding, but with that said. Still not quite as clear as a direct rip.

Meh, I don't HATE the 2002 1~6, because like you said sometimes you may want that warm dirty analog sound or whatever. At least it sounds like they're using a real Famicom.

All my hate is toward the E Can. Almost all the music on it has been released on CD before. It's a half assed money grab by a ridiculous company, and they managed to screw up the most iconic soundtrack on the entire thing. It's pathetic and insane. But beside MM1&2, I haven't noticed anything else REALLY wrong with the E Can.

Thanks for sharing a lossless copy anyway. :) I'm sure it was a pain in the ass.

The rips have to be done anyway, so I might as well share them. Usually I try to avoid playing the CDs as they are there as a collection and nothing else :)
So having them in FLAC comes very handy.
