クイーンズブレイド リベリオン Vol.1~6 特典CD
QUEEN'S BLADE REBELLION Vol.1~6 Tokuten CD

The Dvd and Blu-ray releases are where you will find the soundtrack, scattered all over as bonus cds. Of course they were stupid to think that the drama tracks would make us icthy for it. But no... I am getting pretty much Sick of japanese continuing to release soundtracks this way, when most people don't follow that stuff and start thinking that these scores are lost or were never released.
Anyway, I have a thing for Masaru Yokoyama, sadly he seems to continuous ly bee in these kind of shows. The first 2 Queen's Blade music seem better then this one, but we still have some great high points in this soundtrack. Pirate Captain Liliana Theme is my favorite track, and it went in my head for days and repeated all over. :p
Have fun everyone :)

that sentai 2 CD release (http://vgmdb.net/album/40597) has virtually the same track order as japanese 6 bonus CDs (sentai CD1 is jp CDs 1-3 / sentai CD2 is jp CD 4-6, minus the drama tracks, thank god) so, in a way, Orie brought you the sentai release much earlier :D

Forgot to point that. Besides... I am not agreeing with the fact of buying hyper expensive shit just because of the soundtrack. Thank god for Piracy (Thank Pirate Liliana :p ) for being able to share this.

Thanks a lot. I still remember that Queen's blade music managed to impress with previous releases. Looking forward to check that out !

Thanks for the great post!

I'll still probably get the english release (cause i'm semi interested in watching the series as well) but this will hold me over till then ^_^.
I have to say though it's a pretty good deal to offer the entire series with both OSTs for only 70 bucks.
On japanese sites you have to pay that much just for 2 episodes >.>
Got to love western marketing eh? :)

I have been listening to Queen's Blade Reb. Vol.1, Freezing, Vol.1 & Unbreakable Machine-Doll Vol.1 since last night. I like Yokoyama's ability to create lovely songs in many genres and styles. I am most interested in his orchestral tracks, and I particularly like 3. Muryoku-sa to Setsuna-sa & 8. Aratana Ketsui no Mukou he from the first Queen's Blade volume you shared in this thread. Play them back-to-back, and you have a sweeping string-filled theme that is both bittersweet and optimistic.

"Freezing" & "Machine-Doll" have some tracks that stick out to me as well. I like the cello and piano versions of Freezing's main theme, and Machine-Doll's 12. Noblesse Oblige track is a great pairing of vocals and orchestra.

Yokoyama is one of the few modern anime composers whose music I think I could carry around on my mp3 player for a long time. Since I don't watch anime, I only listen to the music, the ffShrine is my source for discovering new composers, and I am glad that you have shared so much of his music with us! Thank you!

Masaru Yokoyama has a very unique touch. His tracks really stay in your head. I like how he mixes some music types, but the orchestral he mostly does has always such an epic feeling. His battle themes are always so amazing.
