Yeah. It's called 5.1 audio. There are 6 channels in 5.1 audio. One of those channels has dialogue/SFX only. No music.

But really, this belongs in General Discussion (http://forums.ffshrine.org/general-discussion/).

I'd have to disagree. Movies like Angels & Demons really have very soft music in the center channel, but Harry Potter one to four have very horrible soundmixes. Listen to the centre channel and you'll still hear music, so recomposing music for HP... bloody difficult.

What do you mean? I'm confused, all 8 Harry Potter movies have soundtracks. Explain what you're trying to say, I think other's are confused. This should probably be moved to the "General Discussion" section of the Forums, seems like a better place for this thread than where it is now. Not complaining or anything, I always encourage "composing" music :)

Some movies keep the music in the the L,R,SL,SR,LFE channels only and leave the center channel for dialog/sfx only.
It's a real hit or miss.

Pulp Fiction keeps the center channel clean of music, for the most part.
About the only scene in Pulp Fiction that has music in the center channel is where Butch is meeting with Marsellus Wallace. Right after Ezekiel 25:17.
