Great share, mate.

This CD single is taken from the album Voices on which the song called "Voices" sounds so much like the theme from Conquest of Paradise. But, you're right Yannis, this particular track does smack of Blade Runner which was the preceding release to the "Voices" album. Definite recycling from previous albums in this.

Thank you Yannis for this unique disc from the great Vangelis. Ever since I first heard him in 1980 on Carl Sagan's COSMOS series, I have been a huge fan and have collected most of his albums over the years with Opera Sauvage being my favorite. I still get chills when I listen to Hymne. You and Peter must be proud to know this wonderful musical artist is a fellow Greek compatriot.

Yes, we are proud, my dear friend!
I just want to mention that Vangelis was born in Agria, near Volos,
where Alexandre Desplat passed his childhood years with his Greek
mother, 18 years later.

Thank you very much for your nice post, Yanni.
