Time Trax, recorded from a Sega Megadrive (MD1).
From the prototype release.

Very nice FM music :-) Only 6 songs though.

I recorded them at 50hz speed as thats the speed Tim Follins recording of the title music has (from his website).

Well, it's got his signature "chip rock" sound, at least. I had only heard the title theme music in extremely low-fi audio on YouTube, and loved it, so it's nice to have that in FLAC. His work on the Genesis was never as good as his SNES or NES stuff, so I wasn't expecting miracles. :)

Ruiner9.. have you heard other Megadrive music by Tim Follin?

Yeah, only games that have SNES equivalents, though... Spider Man and the X-Men in Arcade's Revenge, and Rock 'n Roll Racing. Both have SNES versions that are MUCH better sounding. To my knowledge, this is the only MD/ Genesis title that has unique music composed by him.

I just checked Tim's website and he says there Time Trax was the only Megadrive game he did music for... the other ones like Xmen and Rock'nRoll Racing was made by Sound Images for Megadrive versions, Tim/Geoff did the versions on Snes though.

Ah, OK. The music is identical, so he must have written it on the SNES and another team ported the music to the MD. I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the info!

Tackar Stefan! :D Sounds pretty interesting. Fourth tracks especially nice and jazzy. Never even heard of this before, neither the show nor the game.

Could you make a 60hz version as well?
That would be sweet!

Has anyone got any of his other soundtacks (Amiga/Snes) they could upload in FLAC?
