Note: I managed to successfully restore the Mr. Charles cue to the form that appears in the film while also still featuring the unused portions from the sessions. As a bonus I've added the alternate unused insert from the sessions as the set's only truely alternate track. No luck finding the film version of the "Destabilization" mid-section insert. I've also merged, as close as possible, the insert track for "Looking into Limbo" to the bootleg track to where it now closely resembles the film version. Also, I made some notable alterations to the two stingers on the track "Dreams or Memories?" The last of the big changes I made included leveling out the sound better in "Extraction," "To the Complex" and "It's a Trap" as upon my recent listening, I noticed some uneven sections so those of you whom noticed those, rest assured that I did too and have corrected those anomalies. I've also made minor alterations to the volume on several other cues but none worth noting. As an additional bonus, I also included the trailer music (NOT the Zack Hempsey track).

Kudos goes to Dimensioner for his complete rips which proved to be crucial in properly overlaying the 2 inserts into their correct places (as reference) as well as serving as a bridge between some tracks. To confirm, this release is 100% clean and free of any unintended SFX.

Kudos also goes to Jayasaurus's House of Anything blog for the cover art. I loved the simplistic image of the animated totems rather than the covers going around of the film's multiple posters, some even include characters in awkward and unnatural positions that come off a bit too funny to be taken seriously. I am a bit burnt out on the movie and Chris Nolan film's in general so I wanted to shift focus for this release. I stuck with the simplistic tone because it doesn't subject your mind to epic images from the film but rather gives you 4 simple but crucial symbols to lead your imagination. While the score fit the film like a glove, it's also a score that can be enjoyed outside of the film and can make any great event of your life that much greater. We will only see how timeless it truly is in 10 years but it is definitely an interesting effort from Zimmer that admittedly has generated repeat listenings for me. It's the one time where I can excuse the sound design nature of this score because not only does it manage to provide minimalistic themes that actually sound really good and sticks with me but is also one I sit back and relax to. It's not rare for me to start humming one of the themes (the "Kick It" theme is one particular favorite) out of the blue so it is a score that will happily remain in my collection and one I will continue to re-visit over the years.

Also, I'm not jumping on the whole "multiple threads for the same score" bandwagon. This is how I've always done things so hopefully we will hear less complaining and more enjoying of the material. This will also hopefully be a project I can go back and re-visit in real lossless FLAC at some point but for now unfortunately all we have is the MP3 version and that's just fine for me. I will update this thread with the genuine FLAC links rather than starting a new thread in the event that those are made available to us. To conclude, I hope you will enjoy this as much as I enjoyed putting it together. It's been an amazing journey for all of us and it's been fun and without several notable users "push"ing for this leak, this release may not even be possible. Now sit back, grab your iPod/iPhone/Android/other MP3 player brand, slip (in) on those comfy headphones and let Hans Zimmer's wonderful sounds take over your dreamspace for the next 2 and a half hours and if you really try, you can pretend that Man of Steel never happened. However I did detect an instance or two of the Joker theme from The Dark Knight so it's hard to forget that The Dark Knight trilogy happened...but why would we want to? ;)

Problem is that with the latest Flash update, Mega started acting all weird. But what's more weird is that IE10 has managed the links Chrome couldn't handle... go figure

EDIT: Actually, it's not the Flash player itself but instead a program called "pepflashplayer.dll". The pepper flash player .dll extension for chrome. Don't you just love it when something autoupdates without your knowledge? So it's Google that is to blame and not Adobe...

I can pretty much guarantee this will sell for way more than $152. I was lucky enough to get a couple of these. One for archive with my other HZ vinyl, and one to play. I'm pissed that my play copy has a weird air-bubble inside the clear vinyl which produces a bad click between tracks 1 & 2 for about 20 seconds.

How come one of tracks (#15) is 48000 Hz, with the rest being 44100 Hz? Anyway, thanks for the upload.

New MP3 link available in original post. Sorry, original lossy FLAC files are on dead hard drive so until I can get into it again, this is the best I can offer. However, this has some adjustments from the original post so to me, it would be worth the millionth dip but I assure you that this edit is the one I'm most comfortable with. I made changes to several tracks, notably "Extraction", "Dreams or Memories?" and "Destabilization". There may be more but it's been a few months since I made the changes so I can't note every single one.

Each time I hear this score, I find new reasons to love it. On my ill-fated trip to California (if you know Sam Brashear whom visits this site, he's a crook so steer clear of him), we got to personally meet Hans Zimmer (photo proof here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=645080043857&l=5ee192293f). We got to discuss this score a tad bit and naturally, this was the album playing on my iPad during the the plane ride home. It's so dreamy.

Meeting Hans and Alan Meyerson plus touring Remote Control Productions was beyond amazing but it was Victor who ultimately made the trip worth it for me. I was slated to visit Harry Manfredini but due to finances and time, we had to miss that visit (a decision I later regretted very much).

Anyway, hope ya'll enjoy the music and the photos. I wish I could sound more excited about the whole experience but after being responsible for all finances and handling all disasters that ensued, happy was the very last mood I was in at any given time. Until we hung out with Victor. I was very happy. Then I was ready to come home.

I'm broke and about to be homeless so at least I got to live these experiences before I no longer am able. I hate to ask because I'm a very prideful person but if anyone can help me out with just a little money to get me a house out of this town, I will be able to take up a job offer that I was offered in order to thrive from there. As of right now, I have no permanent home and my computer time is very limited and unless I can get some help, it'll be indefinitely limited. I don't expect any compassion or interest but I do hope you enjoy this free music that I took the time I really don't have to fix this up for you guys and gals and re-up to Mega. Sorry if I sounded a little cross there but at this point, I'm losing my mind so it's become a force of habit. I'm gonna be late on my car payment for the 2nd month in a row so in other words, I'm about to lose my car leaving me with barely anything. My mother and father divorced last fall so seeing as how they have been my rock for all these years, I'm hitting rock bottom faster than I can get back up out of it. I can't believe I've fallen this much since January and it's not gonna get any easier but a helping hand will NEVER go unappreciated OR unrewarded. I may have something special for the person that cares enough to help a poor soul like myself. ;)

I know this was posted all the way back in 2013, but I'm so glad I found it. This is an insane improvement from the quality and editing from the previous versions I had been listening to!

Since my initial reup, I worked with a lossless source and made some other minor yet impacting changes which now reflects in the link I posted. I like using OneDrive because it saves having to constantly re-upload archives to new servers when they go down. I just drag and drop to OneDrive and the same link will reflect the new files almost instantly on my iPhone or iPad. I highly recommend it.
