This is as complete as it's gonna get until someone can get files from WiiU games. There are ten missing tracks, which I can not record without there being annoyingly obtrusive sound effects. So here it is: three and a half hours of brilliantly composed music that makes up one of Nintendo's best ever soundtracks. I would argue that this is even better than either of the Super Mario Galaxy games.

Everyone is prone to make a mistake or two; you can contact the mods over at the Video Game Music Downloads (Jessie and Leon Scott Kennedy) to help you out moving the thread.

As for your share, I'll steal some time later to download and give this a listen, but for now have some thanks. I really wish Nintendo read the memo already, 'cause they really haven't done anything for like almost 2 decades (?) to get the music of their games out there for pubic consumption.

Nintendo believes OSTs are a waste of money, and it kinda is TBH. even in Japan game music is pretty obscure (compared to anime stuff). it's up to whoever has the merchandizing license though, so this is why you have loads of Pokemon OSTs and almost nothing for Zelda (unless it's orchestrated! *sarcasm)

Yeah, I have a general gist about the whole process, but even still, I think they should invest, if at least moderately. Might as well do limited releases of certain soundtracks, like 150 copies only and any other such examples. I just firmly believe they are wasting potential on something they would be quite successful at, especially taking into account the amount of games under their belt.

LOL. Sad, but true. But I'm very fine with Pokmon music.

I think most of their OSTs only tend to appear as rewards for Club Nintendo anymore. Unfortunate, but also kind of cool. I do wish they made more effort though and that they were more readily available.

Many thanks, mmmmmmm!

Thanks. Any soundtrack with Hajime Wakai's name on it is going to get a listen from me (yes, including Nintendogs).

Hmm, this soundtrack misses the Main Plaza theme that only plays on the first time (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y96cw701nG0). You could add that one too.

Thanks for pointing that one out to me. I'll get on it this weekend.

Probably can't get this to post correctly but if anyone is interested I made this album art for the soundtrack.

Thanks for this. This is easily as complete as I've seen the soundtrack, even scouring for individual songs on YouTube. I know the business merit of physical soundtrack releases is debatable, but I really wish Nintendo wasn't so allergic to sound tests in their games. Actually, I wish this were a way more standard option in modern games in general. Even games that do have them tend to only put a smattering of songs in. I think Nintendo Land's jukebox has like what, half the game's songs? Maybe?

I'm guessing the songs omitted were the ones mentioned as currently impossible to remove from loud, frequent SFX in a prior Nintendo Land thread by mmmmmmm: the boss theme from Battle Quest, the mini-boss and Versus Mode music from Pikmin Adventure, the music from maps 2 to 5 in Ghost Mansion, the action music from Fruit Cart, and the tutorial music from Octopus Dance. I'm not sure what the tenth song would be.

I don't know if I can identify any that might've been forgotten like the user above did for the park introduction theme off the top of my head, if there indeed are any. This game tends to have a lot of very context-specific, brief interludes of songs heard once and only once.
