There are a lot of unreleased tracks of brain powerd. :/ I still wish someone might do a rip even with sfx. I dont consider the show that horrible. In fact I loved it a lot. But I saw it in original japanese dubbing. Americans always seem to dubb anime with pornographic stars voices. that is what i feel every time I tried to even hear it. But back to Brain Powerd.... I miss these kind of works of Kanno. And I sure would love a rip of teh missing tracks. which are a lot and would be enough for a 3rd cd soundtrack. :/

Actually they are not that much, compared to the unrealesed tracks of Aquarion or Macross Frontier, but still they are quite magnificent tracks
Brain Powerd unrealesed ost - Download - 4shared - Victor Olguin Miranda (http://www.4shared.com/rar/Y-x0I75a/Brain_Powerd_unrealesed_ost.html?)
I dont`t have the DVDs so includes voices and sound effects, but still better than nothing
I have also the unrealesed tracks of Macross Frontier, Aquarion and Aquarion Evol, wolf's rain, Turn A Gundam if you are interesed. Maybe you could arrange them like you did with the Bio Hunter Ost.

I Like Brain Powerd also XP

When I re-watched Brain Powerd back in 2006 I counted at least 20 unreleased tracks.

I thank you for your share. I was planning to rip them, with sfx and voices in my way, as you said, a bit like Bio Hunter ost. :p
I don't complain about the tracks having sfx or voices. And quite honestly I dislike those kind of rips that some people do using foobar or something like that to take out the voices and sound. In my opinion that kills the music they are trying to save. For me, it is annoying to listen that weird echo and hearing people trying to speak in so deep in the background. I rather prefer with sfx and voices, at least the sound of the music are going to sound good and with better quality then that "skill" used for so much people.
Of course, it is better that someone remembered to rip something no one ever was into or always requesting, then not having any.

Hearing you rips right now... Is making want to re-watch the anime again. I really love this anime, and think it should have had better attention from people. I know the animation is not the best. For an anime of 1998, the animation good be much better, but... Outlaw Star also was from 1998 it had a an horrible animation, but you grew to like it, because there is a lot that balances with the anime. The light effects used for explosions on Outlaw Star are just amazing. At least in My opinion.
But Brain Powerd, I don't see it has a bad anime or Manga. I think people just missed the point of what the plot is all about. And the soundtrack was probably (except escaflowne) Yoko Kanno's best soundtrack I ever heard, and I still say it.

And... Finished hearing the rips... there are tracks missing. But hearing these is already cool :p
I might go ripping them, again when I finish my other projects.

Agreed with Orie on the sound processing part. I would rather listen to tracks full of sfx than squashed dynamics and tonal balance.
If anyone could link me to unreleased Wolf's Rain and Darker than Black tracks, that would make my day. :D

I`am actually watching the show at the moment ( on episode 3 rigth now ) to see if i missed something, and also because i really like this series, the post apocaliptic atmosphere is really well obttained.
I have the Wolf's Rain with the unrealesed tracks that were already ripped and also my own rips. Is a lot of music.
Now about Darker than Black i was extracting music episode by episode but until this moment I was not able to finish it
I will upload them in a separated thread ( the reason of not sharing before was because i believed that no one will aprecciated with all the voices and sounds, but seeing that this is not the case I will upload them with pleasure )

I also have wolfs rain unreleased tracks.... somewhere in my "dungeon" XD

Glad to see that someone else, finally, knows and feels and sees how good Brain Powerd is. I which we could had second season for it, because of how it ended. but hey... that was the annoying syndrome of anime in 1998. A LOT of incredibly good anime tv series in 1998 they deserved sequels with urgency. Take Silent Mobious for example. What the hell of ending is that. At the time, i really believed there was a second season coming.
1998 is one of the Greatest Achievements in Anime.
OUtlaw Star, GASARAKI, Silent Mobious, Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 (recently saw it, and it was way better then I expected. They really knew how to keep fans spoiled), Cowboy Bebop, Excel Saga, Eatman, Shadow Skill... I could go on and on. :p
I have Brain Powerd IN Tapes COMPLETE. All episodes recorded. It was a difficult thing. Because here in Portugal... You could never follow a cartoon series without loosing a load of episodes, because the channels decided or to broadcast in another day or another hour, without warning.
I have a lot of recorded tapes of cartoons I loved so much, in which I missed some episodes.... Like Generator Gawl.... I lost episode 2, because they broadcasted in another hour, and my video tape was set to star recording in the hour it was supposed to. -_-
BAh!!!

Brain POwerd is one of my top anime. I dont care what other people might say about it being bad. To my eyes and mind, it is very good.

Oh Gasaraki and Bubblegum Crisis 2040 . I really like those to. I will kill for a sequel to Bubblegum Crisis 2040 xP
To be honest the first time I saw Brain Powerd i really don't like that much. I am a big Tomino fan and before this series I have seen Turn A Gundam and it was one of my favorite series. So another job of Tomino and Yoko Kanno together had me really excited. But when I watched this I was kind of dissapointed. I thougth that it was confusing. But even so I rewatched the series again and again and it begin to grow on me.The scene when the Brains were protecting orphan of the nuclear missiles was one of my favorites of the anime industry ( at this moment is my nine time rewatching this series and boy I couldnt enjoy it more). It needs to be discovered.
