The three original LPs were condensed to 2 CDs, and some of the recordings are pretty awful (The Final Conflict, The Mark of Zorro). That's because Roy Budd couldn't get the original arrangements in several cases, so he had to arrange them himself from listening to the movies/previous recordings.

Maybe that's why Supergirl is way too fast from 04.45!

sorry Guys, I couldn't disagree more regarding Doctor Who. I think Doctor Who is a fantastic arrangement. Essentially an electronic work, it is extremely difficult to adapt for a conventional orchestra without including any electronics at all. Of all the orchestral versions I have heard over many years this is by far the best, and I love the dramatic finish. I think it's great, sorry Guys !!

A huge kudos for sharing it, many thanks, I 've been after it for years and the German cd set is obscenely priced on ebay etc. I think someone wanted nearly �100 the last time I looked !! maybe even more !!
