Was just about to post this here. More of an announcement than a request. Got the mail from BSX (not Intrada funnily enough). Still praying for an expanded version of The Abyss.

The "Ambush" cue is definitely the film version, from the sample listen. The large dissonant segment in the sample gives it away as being from the film and not the original album.

Then it should have H's clangy metallic percussion track that was absent on the album version.

I know what you mean but this music is clearly different from the album. The percussion could've been an overlay. Not sure.

It's Intrada's 'newish' business model (thanks to the rapid sellout of their release of Goldsmith's Explorers) where they now describe their limited editions as "Intrada Special Collection release available while quantities and interest remain!"

So if it continues to sell, it won't go out of print anytime soon. They usually make an announcement once they are about to retire one of their "quantities and interest remain" titles.
