When I was a youngster I occasionally followed the first couple of seasons of anime. I still think that for what it's worth it had a great interesting concept and all characteristics of an engaging kid's show. It helps them develop memory and imagination.
So when I'll have a son maybe I'll be an awesome [weird] dad and make it mandatory for him to watch those good old originals from 1997. :P

Ooh I'm glad this thread got revived. I have most of the original JP CDs from 1997-1999 but that singing Pokedex one has eluded me, I've been after that disc for a while.
