From what I remember the profits from either "Switched on Bach" or "A Clockwork Orange" paid for the op. The first couple of albums were originally as Walter but CD reissues are all as Wendy.

Incidentally, Angela Morley (of "Watership Down" fame) used to be Wally Stott (probably most famous for the "Hancock" theme).
