Now that they have the technology, they can remake these games and give them the sound and graphics they were meant to have IMO.

I must admit, I'd like to see the old Wonderboy games remade into next-gen, although as Sega sold the licence to Hudsonsoft years ago, that probably will never happen.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Yes, I know Nintendo is considering it for the 3DS, but I would much rather have it be remade on the Wii U then the graphics would look infinitely better. I'm normally not a person that complains about graphics that much, but if a Majora's Mask remake would happen, it needs to look it's absolute best. Like Wind Waker HD that's coming out in the fall, there are much better lighting and shadow effects and it looks great! That's the treatment that Majora's Mask should get. It needs to have that dark apocalyptic atmosphere like the world is ending. (Since it does if time runs out) Instead of being on the 3DS with slight re-textures like Ocarina of Time 3D.

Also, Super Mario Bros. 2. It doesn't necessarily have to be remade, but at least have an update like the New Super Mario Bros. Games.

I Could be wrong. But its been my understanding that remakes and updates can be the same. And when not, they're often similar. If I ever think of an example, I'll post it.

Anyway, I don't know if Majora's Mask needs to be remade. Remakes usually suck. That game's too good (IMO anyway) to be remade. An upgrade wouldn't hurt though. I guess I'd say the same for Orcania Of Time.

Well there are some "enhanced remakes" for the GBA for example, including Super Mario Advance which is one for SMB2. It's the same game, but has voice acting, more collectibles, etc. and has the same graphics as the SNES version. But to me, that's more of an update than a remake. A remake to me, is like the Resident Evil remake for the GCN, where the graphics have been completely redone from the ground up, new areas, weapons, characters, added more to the story etc. So to me, THAT is a remake when everything has been completely redone, but the overall story is the same, which is what I would want from a Majora's Mask remake. Though it's not likely to happen.

Xenogears, because the endgame is basically a slideshow as they ran out of time and budget. In fact it was originally planned to be part of a series, so if they made the rest of the series that would be cool too.

Shyea. I think this game would be more likely to be remade on the 3DS though since Nintendo has been making N64 "3D remakes" on there but it would obviously look a lot better on the Wii U. Or if not a remake, then a sequel or follow-up or something with the same concept as Donkey Kong 64, since we need another 3D Donkey Kong platformer. Krusha being playable again would be sweet too.

Star Wars Dark Forces

Mach Five, they already remade the first Halo game - reusing the first game's engine and a mix of graphics from Halo 3 and Halo: Reach - for the 360. Can't believe that they went ahead and did the same for Halo 2 exclusively on Xbox One without at least considering a port for 360.

I'd love to see a sequel (or at least a remastered re-release) of N64's Conker's Bad Fur Day. Xbox released it a few years back but there was some censorship involved. I still pull out the ol' N64 version once in a while. One of my favorites.

I would like to see an HD 2-d remake of Symphony of the night;
a hd remake of chrono cross and a hd 2-d remake of trigger;
all for the ps3 and 4 (but mostly ps3 as I own that one)

Actually, I would like Capcom to update all of their games, specially the Marvel vs Series, with high quality vectorized sprites. That would be awesome. No change to the game mechanics, nothing changed, only the sprites and backgrounds so it looks great on high definition screens.

Xenogears. As much as I love the game, it hasn't aged too well. Seeing it in a remade high-res anime style would be nerdgasmic.

I'd like to see the Zelda series remade, all of them. And I'd like to see Silent Hill 1 remade.

I would love to see the NES / SNES FF games getting remade, starting from FFVI but it's probably not going to happen for a long time, if at all.

The other series that I'd really like to see remade is the Resident Evil one, but that is already happening!

FFVII would be my obvious number 1. But since that is actually happening, my new number 1 is FFVIII. Peeps give it hell all the time, but I Love it. It is my second fav. FF out there and I think it is deserving of a remake. FFVI would be close second, I simply love FFVI. The character development, character selection, flexibility of the game as a whole. Beautiful game. Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger, chrono cross more than chrono trigger. Lastly, Legend of Dragoon. I loved it back in the day, and I feel it would benefit from a modern facelift.
