This is the same as favorite game features, except it's the opposite, and you name your least favorite features.

The least favorite for me, is if there are no collectibles, bonuses, side quests, unlockables, etc. cause I don't like super straight forward games, then it has very little or no replay value in my opinion, and I love replay value. (Who doesn't?)

Also, I hate repetitive level designs cause otherwise, you would feel like you're doing the same thing over and over again wouldn't you? I would...

I guess that's about it for me for now. Not many features I don't like except the ones I mentioned... what are your least favorites?

They CAN be interesting, but most of the time they just feel like tacked on shit.

SNES/NES has to be my favorite consoles just based on nostalgic value alone. But truth be told, although I miss those graphics, they aren't as advanced as today. Which leads me to one of my least favorite features. It's not really the graphics themselves. Its that the endings have text rather than actual dialogue, which endings of current games would have.

The tendency of most game developers/publishers these days deliberately withholding sections of games which should be in the whole title and instead releasing it as paid DLC - it's a moneymaking scam. I have nothing against DLC on it's own, as long as the content is optional (like bonus costumes or background music) and is in no way essential for completing it.

Yeah I agree.

There was a pre-order option for Arkham City. If I remember correctly.....
.....there were three. One from Amazon. One from GameStop. And I think one from Best Buy. Each one came with a DLC character (Robin, Nightwing, Catwoman.) This was pretty pointless as they were all available as a purchasable bundle.

WWE games....same deal. With the Fan Axxess purchase, you can get the pre-order DLC stuff along with other things.

All this makes pre-orders pretty much pointless. I don't know if this exactly relates to your point. But its just one that I was making.

Stealth sections in action games.

Can't think of one game that pulls this off.

Romances in western RPG's. Seen only two games that could pull this of.

I always facepalm every time when a game developer starts talking bout how "you'll be able to romance this or that character or even have same sex relationships ", when promoting their RPG's (Yeah I'm looking at you Bioware).
