She took up the third place in the party and I swapped her place with Barret, except they didn't actually swap, but I ended up with two Aeris' in my party. Then I changed her position with Cloud, and I couldn't see myself on the screen. xD

So if you're gonna use this, it has bugs, so don't change her position. ;)

Right. It also gets buggy when you come to the split path in the Northern Cave. I'm not sure how exactly it worked, but I ended up with only two characters in my party.

Just make sure u only have 2 ppl in your team thn use it. once shes there open he PHS and select Aeris move in and out of ur team a couple of times and then it should be all go...... And y does Aeris have dialoge in that the Great Glacier. If you have hr in your team when you finish the snowboard thing and every1 is recovering she speaks!!!! the Proof is here:

This isn't what the thread is about. And i'm sure if you looked around, you would find a post that tells where to find the Underwater Materia. If not, then you need to start a thread asking that question, bearing in mind that a thread related to that question hasn't already been started

Actually at the start of the thread ppl were talking vout the equiping the underwater materia to go and get Aeris and then ther was a short discusion about it so ha ha up yours!

Okay, but that was garbage. The underwater materia has nothing to do with reviving Aeris and everything to do with removing a counter on the battle for Emerald Weapon. Aeris was one of the better games in Final Fantasy 7. She's an awesome character. She's one of the only characters who had personality. She sacrificed herself for the good of the party. For the good of the planet. In battle she wasn't a power house like Barret, but she added a stability into the party that allowed Cloud and A.N.Other to do their thing with attacks and stuff whilst she healed and kept an eye on things magic-wise.

Again and again I am impressed and stunned by the emotional intelligence some people here display... :eggsweat:

P.S. Can someone let me know of a good online faq for FF7 I need to beat it with everyone at lvl 100 like i did VIII (It's what I do with games i dob't finish.)

The is quite a logical reason behind why there was no blood when Seph attacked Aeris and it goes back to feudal Japan...

There were two famous swordmakers, Masamune and Murasame (Murasame is one of Cloud's weapons). Both made excellent weapons, but there was a difference. Murasame's weapons were bloodthirsty, where as Masamune's was not.

One day Masamune and Murasame placed thier swords into a gentle moving stream. A leaf passed by Masamune's blade safely, where as it was sliced in half by Murasame's. What makes this interesting is the lack of blood during Aeris' death. When Sephiroth thrusts his Masamune blade through her body, we see no blood.

Perhaps Sephiroth's sword possesses the same properties as the Masamune blade in the story? Masamune's blade was described in the story as being non-bloodthirsty. Note: If i remember correctly when Seohiroth attacked with the Masamune in a battle there was an almost silent and elegant attcking noise but when you attack with the Murasame it is a rather violent slashing noise..... Of course the other reason to there being no blood is the fact that Squaresoft did not want a violent game.

Also the graphics in FF7 were not advanced enough to show blood on the sword after tifa is slashed and you suposed to follow tifas dramatic fall.

also sepheroth grabs the sword from tifa so it should be tifas sword.

I can't believe that this thread is still around.

But really, that was a very interesting story, and one I hadn't heard before.

And yeah, I thought about the Sephiroth ending FMV too and how they showed the blood. But I imagine they really had to fight for that. But I guess normally it is out of custom, because you don't normally see in any blood in the FF games.

Good Point i had forgotten about Sephiroth at the end. He bleeds, he bleeds good.

Sure, he bleeds, you can see it running down his body...but is there any spray or splatter? I don't beleive there is.. and I think that when Aeris is impaled, then there should at least be a spray... I mean, c'mon! There was a seven-foot sword going through her heart! Then again, maybe they didn't want to stain the beautiful Aeris with blood...? I dunno... and is it just me, or is it almost impossible to read what Setzer's writing? I really can't read much of it...
