I have watched the movie that way, and the songs match perfectly. It's simply amazing, the lyrics completely match with the scene where they play. I haven't synced it my self but there was a fan-made DVD for sale here in Brazil (on a brazilian eBay (MercadoLivre)). I didn't get to buy it but I got a copy from a friend of mine. The guy who made it blended additional audio tracks in the DVD to where you can choose whether you'll watch with the album playing or with the original audio. Also, he included subtitles in several languages for you to understand better. It's pretty cool. Btw, thanks for this, phbart. :)

What a GREAT post! Who doesn't love the Wizard complete with all the songs cut from the 1939 film.

i actually have the recording sessions from 1938.....i had gone thru them and put together an alternate wizard of oz useing alternate trax , i did have some trouble with munchkin land tho i took the singing voice s and tried to match them up with the score i am a little off . But its still good listening
