has anyone ever wondered just who is clouds father?

FFS, no offence but im actually sick of these types of posts due to the fact that this is just something left out, Clouds dad is no hero or some super enhanced human or even sephiroth for that matter. Clouds dad wouldve most likely been a short dude like cloud and MIGHTVE been in soldier which couldve given cloud more inspitation. But anyway back to my wingeing, clouds father is just something that square decided not to cover in the game and there was no real reason for leaveing his father out either, its just character development.

nah, i was jus thinkin... the story goes that cloud dint have the jenova cells in him before the niblehiem incident, yet he was able to beat sephiroth.... i was just speculating as to who is father was, and how he was able to beat sephiroth

Cloud is not real....-.-.......he was genetically created from Zacks cells, therefore, Cloud has no parents, if he does, their just a memory that he got from Zacks cells, thats that.

Cloud was a normal human who was kind of an outcasted for being small and skinny, and he liked Tifa, so to get her to notice him he decided to join SOLDIER and be like sephiroth.

In the Niblheim incident and where Cloud fought seppie Cloud attacked Sephiroth from the behind making sephiroth weaker, and wen sephiroth tryed to escape he impaled cloud, and in a mad fit cloud chucked sephiroth over the edge into the lifestream. Cloud and Zack were weakened by the incident, Tifa's fighting instructer rescued her and took her to midgar while Cloud and Zack were to be tested on by Hojo. Zack was used to this kind of testing because thats one of the requirements to be First Class, but Cloud wasnt he was comalized (this testing was the inputing of Jenova cells), Zack managed to escape by dressing Cloud in a first class uniform and they escaped Nibelheim, but just before reaching Midgar Zack was guned down by shinra troops, they left Cloud for dead due to his statis. and the reason Cloud has Zacks memorys and etc i gatherd from playing is cos Cloud was so worked up about getting to first class but he didnt make it and when they came to nibelheim he didnt want anyone to notice him because he felt shame or something like that, and so when he met tifa in the slums he decided not to tell her he didnt make it to first class and just pretend he was Zack, but that all wen out of control and he didnt kno what was true or false and he actually believed he was Zack but not, if u kno wat i mean.

Cloud made it to the slums where he met tifa and avalance, and thats where the game begins.

Sorry for having a stress but it just bugs me when people claim theyve finished Final Fantasy 7 over and over and still say hes not real and etc, it tells ya in the lifestream that he infact is real.

yeah, cloud is real. but if sephiroth is unable to be beaten, and cloud did that to him, maybe he might have been a sephiroth clone before that. there is a story overview floating around that the last half of the story was rushed and incomplete. maybe they did leave some things out

I highly doubt it. That's all I have to say and Devil Hunter where did you get that information and how do you know it is 100percent accurate cause it isn't in the game. Not that I don't believe you though I was just curious.:)

No shit, land lord it tells ya when your in the lifestream with Tifa, and Lynx_Raide the only reason Cloud defeated sephiroth is cos he attacked sephiroth from behind when he wasnt expecting it, no real skill to that i suppose.

Cloud wasn't a clone or created or anything like that. He had a mother so he obviously had a father. No links are suggested in the game about who the father is, except when Tifa fell off the bridge with Cloud at Mt Nibel...then i believe it was Cloud's father who shouted at him. So his father was probably just a warrior at Nibelheim who died some random way.

no, that was tifa's father. clouds father 'supposedly' died before or not long after he was born

When you return to the basement in Niblehiem (correct me if i am wrong) it tells you how Cloud ended up with Zack's sword.

And what happened at the Nible reactor was that when Sephiroth found out that he was implanted woth Jenova cells, he went into the room where Jenova was being kept. At this point Zack rushed in to stop Sephiroth freeing Jenova and Cloud was one of the random token soldier men left. Then Sephiroth knocked Zack away and Cloud picked up Zack's sword and struck Sephiroth. Then Sephiroth burned down Nibleheim and then it takes of from where Devil Hunter explained how he ended up with Zack's sword.

yes when you return to the mansion in Nibelheim go to the basement and you will see a special cinema scene that shows how Zack and Cloud met, and how Cloud got his big sword

just wait for advent children it might explain a few things

after the Shinra soldiers find cloud and zack, they wipe out zack, but leave cloud for dead. cloud then goes over to zack, picks up the sword, and then the background shifts to nibelheim, thus explaining how cloud came to be at nibelheim

Back to the topic. Clouds Father? um...... I dont think it ever tells you of course but I would think it would be hojo because they are both nuttier than a fruit cake( yep there are alots of nuts in fruit cakes). Of course this is just speculation.

k that wouldnt make sense because Hojo is Sephiroths father and Lucrecia is his biological mother. (He only had Jenova cells in him thanks to Hojo.) So Hojo aint Clouds father.
