I'd Just Like To Know, Has Anyone Seen This Anime?
I've Only Seen Two Episodes In Subtitles But It Seemed Really Cool, What Are Your Thoughts?

I like Hunter X Hunter. It's probably thanks to the characters that I still read this series although the plot itself has been getting weaker lately, the events not as gripping as before.
All in all it has its ups and downs, but HxH still keeps me hooked. :) It has a kind of realistic way of storytelling, sometimes the story advances at a slower pace, appears boring. The author takes his time, really. That's bold. And interesting, I like it. :)

I like how Togashi put a lot of work into designing the world, and how the characters are presented. :)

I like Killua in this anime because he really looks like Vincent(Yu Yu hakusho). and he's also fast when moving and he got a cool skateboard! :angel:

I don't like Anime. Everytime I see that name, I think of that one Aeon from that one game...

It's a really excellent game.....

I Like Biske (sorry if wrong spelling) because she has really long hair and is quite pretty although she is VERY old.
Has anyone watched up to this bit. They meet her in Greed Island.

Nah, Biske isn't VERY old. To me, very old people are over 100 years old. She's merely old. Or older than she looks... :)
But yeah, I kind of like her.

Well she must be really old because she taught Nen to Gon's Nen teacher.

Did you know that the anime has already got up to the part where they were playing volleyball with one of the gamemasters of Greed Island. Then Killua had the mucked up bruised hand because of Gon. i won't say anymore in case i spoil it.

I like hunterXhunter, I saw the anime and it's good..but no more..I prefer read the manga...

I live in Japan and read the comic on which the anime is based on, and I can tell you the comic is F'ing Amazing. As the comic comes out before the anime, I know all the things that havn't come out in the cartoon yet, and safely can say that you have a lot to look forward to. Especially with the chimera ant king...

emm... if i had posted this already my comp just doesnt work right..... i really like watching hunter x hunter ....my favourite character in it would be the white hair boy i do nnot know there name in english because i watch it in cantonese......and does it end when the finish fighting the guy with scissors ....is it over after that or there is more????:D

The anime series is based on a manga, which is still continuing, so the anime will continue too. There is alot more after where you saw, infact, the best bits of the whole hunter hunter series so far are coming up after that bit. And the name of the character you like is Killua, by the way. Killua Zaoldyeck. (Thats the proper spelling as stated by the author of the manga, by the way. Took me ages to find it.

Hunter X Hunter and GTO (great Teacher Onizuka) are probably the two best animes ive seen in ages, GTO only has 40 episodes but it is VERY gripping, Hunter X Hunter isnt finished yet but up till now the storyline is great!!!

really? WOWY! i also like hunter x hunter. at the beginning it takes a bit time but later it gets better. i also really think the anime of that manga is nice. ohh liek the first opening ^^.
but now istoped watching it cause had no time but maybe i�ll start again. the "animals" in it are funny and sometimes some szens act very good.

Anyways, I've seen all the episodes of Hunter x Hunter including the OVAs (uhm they're more like Kurapika vs. Geneiryodan episodes). They were all broadcast on local TV here, so it's not really hard not to miss them, LOL.

But anyways, I'm confused about the whole Greed Island OVA, and I think the show isn't over yet. In addition, I wonder where was Gon's father?

You see, the TV series, the first OVA and the Greed Island and the Greed Island Final OVA, in this order, tell the story as it happened in the manga. There's no need to be confused, the Greed Island part simply tells what happens after Gon, Killua and Kurapika overcome their problems with my beloved spiders the Ryodan.

The manga has embarked onto a new story arch now, and I suppose that sooner or later, another OVA will be released, adapting this story. It isn't finished yet, and from what I know so far, nothing really has been resolved yet. Gon still hasn't found his father, as far as I know... and so on...

Anywho, oh, so Kurapika was alive after that Geneiryodan arc. I thought she er... he was... dead coz Gon and others overreacted when Kurapakika fainted. I haven't read the manga though. I think I'll just have to wait for the OVAs, LOL. Thanks for the info.

Hehe. Kurapika fell only ill, without any doubt because of all the stress he was under. (Poor chap, hm.)

Well i guess that too but the main reason is because when someone dies their nen does not. kurapica killed so many people so the nen of those people came back to haunt him and he couldn't cope so he fell ill.

As far as I know, this was said about the nen of a dead person if this nen was applied to a living person. A nen with a permanent effect, kind of. Ubo or whatever you prefer to spell his name, and Pakunoda didn't have any nen like that. Pakunoda also never used her abilities on Kurapika.
Nah, I guess this rule only counts for nen that, like, sticks with the victim. Like Kurapika's Judgment Chain, or the bombs of these bomber guys...

but because of all the people that kurapica killed (the muscle guy, the woman with the gun and another guy) thier ghost shadow thingys were in the room with him looking at him when he was ill.

actually I don't care who is right or wrong. This is what i think that that is what u think so i'm going to stop arguing.

I suppose that those things were only inside Kurapika's head, his conscience showing him the faces of those he killed. Although he didn't directly kill Pakunoda.
Well, I didn't watch the anime, and I don't remember the exact scene in the manga, but I'm pretty sure that Nen has nothing to do with it.
Of course, if you don't care for my opinion, ignore what I'm writing. :(

i stoped watching hunter x hunter had no time anymore :/ but still i really like that music. can anyone tell me what happend laitly in the story of the anime?

Hunter x Hunter is cool, however I sometimes feel the author is $hit, cause he takes a rest too often which causes a lot of readers to wait with frustration.
He stopped drawing for about 5 or 6 weeks in a raw, oh, this is off topic,,,,
