It's real. I have a 320 conversion from the flac set. A good listen too, I was pleasantly surprised when I heard it.

Because originally the tracknames were incorrect and replaced with the ones from the cuesheets. Cuesheets had slates so those were added as well. But the cuesheets are incomplete, that's why some of the tracks still have incorrect titles and no slates.

True, yes, but things often labelled as 'recording sessions' aren't necessarily what you think of 'recording sessions' are. Often, it's something like a set of CDs mixed and burned after the actual recording sessions.

Not at all, it's only my speculation (or I'm going to use a better word - a wish), since during last two years they released christmas-themed scores for Home Alone 1 and 2 as a part of their final Black Friday releases. So this one would make a nice third contribution towards this trend! :)

Nah there isn't a version of the polar express song w/out vocals but if you really want your fix the same theme is repeated in the cue entitled 'Meeting Santa Claus'.

Thanks for the mega link - It's that time of year again and I'm hankering for an instrumental of the main Polar Express song for christmas - anyone know if the vocal-less version of it's album mix exists anywhere? There's a tantalisingly good fragment on the latter-half of track 28 but it's sadly nowhere near the full thing, and it's missing that wonderful rhythmic puffing on the album version's intro. Catchy as it is, I just wanna hear it without the kids or Tom yelling over the top of it, haha!

Does anyone have the full handwritten score? Conrad Pope and William Ross orchestrated it.

I just had the chance to see The Polar Express full movie, with Orchestra and Chorus. It was incredible! One of the best concerts I've ever been in my life, Alan Silvestri is one of my favorite Composers and this score is one of my most beloved ones. So, a long wish finally came true!
