Moving to Gen FF!

What exactly do you mean by gameplay? If you mean battle system, then I'd have to choose Final Fantasy X. Too bad the storyline sucked.

If we're talking about gameplay then FFTactics wins no contest. There is just so much more variety in that game than any other FF game I've played. Random battles can take 10-20 minutes in that game opposed to the 1-2 minutes in other FFs. The sheer amount of customability in that game far surpasses any other FF, any character has the potential to become a fighter, mage, archer, or combination of any classes you want.

The only FF game that can rival Tactics in the gameplay department is FFXI, but I've not played enough of FFXI to say for certain which one is better, although crafting in FFXI is very frustrating to me.

I would have to say I like FF8 for gameplay. I liked how you could teach your GF's abilities and how when you leveled up so did the enemies. That made the game a whole lot harder and with Omega Weapon it gave people who beat the game another goal.

I Think It's FF7,FF8,FFx.
