That's the reason why I say for myself that this score will not get leaked before christmas... history tells me whenever a leak was "announced" - that a score will get leaked "soon" - it will take a while and will not be next day, next week or next month.
So, don't get your hope up too high... the people who wrote that knowing exactly how all of you will respond, maybe they laugh at you now. I don't know...

Totally agree. It restored, to an extent, my faith in the movie going public. Just when I thought the only films they'd see were ones with explosions or gunfire every five minutes - I prefer 15 minute breaks between acts of mayhem - they surprised me.

And when Warner Bros signed Nolan on to direct Batman I rejoiced. Bats and his enemies have always been about psychology, aberrant and otherwise and all of Nolan's film have been about psychology, aberrant and otherwise.

I was just thinking earlier that it will be the latter. I hate to be a naysayer but too much hype and very little payoff in the past has taught me better. You newbs will do well to keep that in mind.

Of course, I've been quite a long in this and probably this won't be the last time in which someone appears and states that has a jewel on his hands and is willing to share it with us, I know in some cases there's people out there who do share their stuff and some others who are just messing around, I don't know what's going to happen in this very case, but I think we shouldn't lose our hope and, on the other hand, we should be prepared in case this is just another mindgame as well.

This is unbelievable. We go through this literally every time something big gets hyped up around here. No one ever knows when or how these things are going to leak. They just do. The grey market isn't dictated by any type of scheduling whatsoever. These sessions are leaked by generous guys sitting on a computer just like you are right now.

My "10pm" remark was a completely sarcastic joke because everyone always clamors for these leaks like they're expecting official release dates, which is ridiculous to expect from a communal system that has never once been in any form predictable.

Entitlement isn't going to get you anywhere. Leaks don't just fall from the sky. It takes proactive members of the community to hoist these sessions from elitist nests, share them, and deal with the shitstorm that's brought personally upon them afterwards. This particular release isn't out of reach - some dumb fuck on pianofiles has it sitting on his computer right now. If I just had a rare CD or even a complex fake, I could trade with the guy and post the fucking thing by the morning. Odds are because of this it will probably be shared soon by someone who has gone out of his or her way to get it in ways we've been unable to. But if everyone had the mindset to sit around and do nothing but clamor, nothing would ever come our way.

The trailer on Blu-ray is lossy AC3.

Not that I have the slightest interest whatsoever in this score (I hated the film), but I seriously doubt Garage has the true 'Inception' sessions or whatever they're being touted as this week on f**kthis.com!

For example, Garage claimed to have the recording sessions to the 2004 film version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'The Phantom of the Opera' and then when I finally got the file from him (via pianofiles), whilst three tracks did come from origins unknown, the rest where just the expanded edition OST with a couple DVD rips thrown in for good measure. There was also a lot missing (he only had two thirds of what he originally claimed to have and his pianofiles listing remains unchanged still despite his realising this), including a number of pieces of underscore that were ruined by dialogue on the OST and aren't clean on any DVD/Blu-ray soundtrack unfortunately.

Anyway, I think the same is true of any file he has that he didn't get from here, so just take what he says about them with a pinch of salt and get on with your day.

I think it's safe to assume that these "samples" have been adequate enough to suggest the complete score is real and out there, and arriving here soon whether or not Garage provided them. I believe he may have acquired them from someone else. Only time can tell now.

There's always edits after the recording sessions, well there usually is. The Recording Sessions is most likely never the final mix the way you see it presented in the film.

that's simply bullshit. The part that is unfamiliar to you is unused. If you check the track list, you'll see that Mr. Charles has an alternate. Plus there is no music even remotely close what are you hearing.

The alternate on hz.com is an insert. it plays partly when Saito says to browning "I see you've changed" and Eames walks behind Browning...

I'm guessing it would be more like a replacement. Like the "insert" for the battle in gladiator's complete score.

I agree. In the making of documentary for the score, that was the first time I found the SH2 score even remotely amusing and fun, mainly on account of the gypsy music. Too bad the album didn't feature enough of that.

I love the scores I download because I love listening to those scores. The Perfect Storm, Amazing Spider-Man, Titanic (one day....hell it'll never happen) and others I seek out because I genuinely enjoy those scores.

I guess in one way I already asked the same question you're asking when I started that discussion thread. I don't know how others feel about it but I never download anything just to have. I download specifically to enjoy.
