I have many favorites, but recently I've been blown away by Diego Koi's work. His pencil drawings are so realistic I had a hard time believing they were not pictures. If you'd like, you can visit Diego Koi's deviantart page (diegokoi.deviantart.com) and see what I mean.

I'm a cartoonist, and into graphic novels and comics. Jim Lee, Pia Guerra (Y The Last Man), David Mazzucchelli (Batman Year One), Gary Frank (Batman Earth One), Phil Jimenez (he's pretty prolific, actually) and Alex Toth are favorites of mine in the genre.

But purely on art, and nothing to do with storytelling...I think Yoji Shinkawa is my favorite. He's the art lead on the Metal Gear Solid games. I think his artwork is amazing.

As much as I'd like to say some obscure artist that makes me sound deeply in-tune with the mores of 21st century art, I have to go with Picasso. I saw his "Violin and Grapes" at the MoMA exhibition. Absolutely wonderful. Better, even, than the art in the Uffizi (yes - including Da Vinci's, not that I know much about art beyond its visual appeal).

Mine is Boris Vallejo. When I was just starting out on my own in life I bought a calendar of his and fell in love with. One of the pictures was featured in a mid 1990s calendar. Just think late 1970s - 1980s Semi Erotic mix of fantasy women and Dungeons and Dragons.. I would link some pictures but it has nudity and I don't feel comfortable doing it on this forum

Yes, he is really good. He made artwork for every one of the Ecco The Dolphin games, I love that artwork. Of course... you know.

Favorite Artist: I don't know, Matt Hall is really damn good. These are from Medal of Honor: Frontline

I love Salvador Dali, Rene Magritte and Arthur Rackham.

Rackham did some great illustrations for children's stories, some pretty scary when you're a kid. Unfortunately I can't seem to upload any at the moment...

I love how Keith Haring created his style, and how minimalistic his characters are but still succeeds in conveying a message
