Started one for TV shows/movies so felt I should do one for games too. Like the other thread, based on my answer, you'll see what I'm asking for. And put one thing per post so the posts aren't too long to read.

Super Mario Bros because when I bought the original NES, this is the game I got with it. It also came with Duck Hunt along with the orange colored gun. Whenever I play NES, this is the game that I think about and memories of me playing are going on in my head.

Super Mario All-Stars - This is the first game I remember playing since the SNES was the first system we owned. We had around 50 games for it and I did play others sometimes but I always went back to this one. Our SNES died about 11 years ago now and we sold all the games we had since it didn't work anymore. I've bought an SNES and Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World last year for myself and it was exactly how I remembered it but better since SMW was with it. So yeah... most nostalgic for me. And after all the games I've played, this one is still my favorite.

I need some info in the SNES you bought last year. Is is the older, original model? Is the system used? How much? And where did you buy it?

I should have added in the first post to put a specific title. In your case, which Mario game as All-Stars has 4, 5 if you count SMW. You mentioned in another post SMB1 so I'd imagine it'd be that for you.

Another title for me....Amagon. I was extremely addicted to this game, which is why it brings me nostalgic value. I thought the idea of being able to become bigger and stronger was unique. At least for its time anyway. I recommend it.

It's the original model. I got it from EB Games (it's called GB Games here since it's in Green Bay, WI) for $40 new. It's the only game store around here that sells anything before Gamecube games. I don't know if it would be in your state... (or country?) but any used media store should have them.

Rayman - I remember playing this at a friends house when I was younger and absolutely loving it. It wasn't until middle school that my parents got me the playstation, my first video game console, and this game with it. I still have this game and I still love it. I still love the series as well. While I used to love to play Super Mario Bros on the NES and Super Mario 2 on the SNES at friends houses, this was game was the real start of my love of video games.

Killer Instinct because it was the first game I ever bought for SNES and aside from wrestling games, the only fighting game to date I've ever beaten on all difficulty modes with each character. I've never had that much success in any fighting game since then except for Soul Blade on Xbox Live Arcade which I was only able to beat on the easiest difficulty mode.

Bubble Bobble - I remember playing this a lot with my brothers and friends in the basement of the house I grew up in.

Two others which fit that bill would be Battletoads, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time

My favorite Gameboy game I ever played was The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Played it to death when I was younger and I absolutely loved every second of it. It was a favorite time-passer on many family road trips. I never finished it though. Made it to the dungeon where you have to knock down pillars with a huge stone.

Bubble Bobble

Same. A friend and I could beat it on one credit in the arcade. I knew every level almost as well as I knew my own back yard (except levels 51 -69 because we always got the level skip door).

You play Rainbow Islands? It's nowhere near as much fun but it has Bub and Bub.

I have never heard of Rainbow Islands but I just looked it up on YT and it seems pretty fun.

I wasn't aware BB was in the arcades. Some nostalgic arcade games for me would be The Simpsons and Avengers beat-em ups. In middle school we had lock-ins at a roller rink and they had both of these. I love how Marge's uses a vaccuum to fight.

Also beat the entire Michael Jackson arcade game once with friends & family at a Shakey's pizza.

I also loved The Simpsons game. I played it whenever we went to the Fox River Pizza Company. It went out of business a while ago and I haven't seen this game since. I'd love to play it again someday.

Wow. Arcade games REALLY rake me back cause I was playing them before or right around time of owning a NES.

I went to this nearby arcade place called GameShak and played the original WrestleFest religiously, day in and day out. I never playing others, but since I played WF so much, I don't remember the other games I played lol.

I remember having a birthday party with friends from school at this place when I was in 4th or 5th grade. Since it's so long, I don't remember the place exactly. But it had arcades and that thing where you go in and jump into that pile of balls. It's in the intro to the Step By Step show and it was also in the Randall's Friends episode of Recess. I just don't know what its called.
Anyway, I played a Simpsons arcade. Of course, don't remember which exactly. Might have been Virtual Bart or Bart's Nightmare. But I remember playing MK1 the most just to hear the character selection music lol!

I don't remember the name. If anyone can provide that info, I'd appreciate it. Haven't played it in decades so gonna go by memory to describe it:

All I remember is how the whole game is dark except you because there is a big spotlight on you. Big enough to not only light you, but light whatever is right next to you, like you background so you can see if an enemy is near you or something. But the rest of the game: pure dark. Like you can barely see anything else. It's for NES.

Dream Master (NES)
Contra (NES)
Zelda (NES and the only Zelda game I actually enjoyed)
Super Mario Brothers 3 (NES)
The Lion King (Game Gear)
Sonic 2 (Genesis)
Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (arcade and Genesis)
Altered Beast (Genesis)
Comix Zone (Genesis)
Mortal Kombat (arcade)
Jersey Devil (PS1)
Blasto (PS1)
Tomb Raider 2 (PS1)
Final Fantasy 8 (PS1)
Final Fantasy 9 (PS1)
Metal Gear Solid (PS1)
Silent Hill (PS1)
Resident Evil 2 (PS1)
X-Men (arcade)
The Simpsons (arcade)
Pokemon Blue (Gameboy. First time I played this was on a friend's game and I didn't even know what Pokemon was)
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (arcade)
Tekken Tag Tournament (arcade)
Dead or Alive 2 (arcade. First DOA arcade game I played when visiting California when I was 13. And the last time I was there before that I was 4 when I moved to St. Louis)
Kingdom Hearts (PS2. Truly the last game I was really excited for before it was released until the announcement that the HD remake was coming overseas, and the fact that it will be the first Final Mix in English doesn't hurt. Just can't seem to get excited over any new games anymore)

Most of the games are nostalgic even though they don't have a reason as to why. Some because I can't remember and others I just don't feel like sharing. But this is it off the top of my head.
