Great post. Thank you so much. And thank you for the many wonderful things you have posted recently.

One minor thing though: I could not open the back cover in either folder (everything else - front cover & booklet - worked fine). Is anybody else having this problem? And would it be too much to ask if anybody could provide the back cover. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure it's such a good idea to post new releases from our beloved labels so quickly. May be it should be cool to wait for their next ones, because if they are here before the CDs arrive to most of the collectors who order them, I think it can kill many of their sales. Just IMO, no offense, it's cool for those who can't afford to buy all the new releases they want. But if Intrada or LLL take notice, you can imagine what will happen. I'm surprised they didn't, by the way.

I had a very similar problem to you, the way to solve it is to upload the photo to tinypic.com, click the insert image icon, copy and paste the url address for the photo and unclick the tick box at the same time. As well as photos I also copy and paste tracklistings from soundtrackcollector.

Delight for Jerry Goldsmith fans! World premiere release of complete soundtrack to riveting Mark Robson WWII action pic starring Frank Sinatra, Trevor Howard. POW escape aboard speeding train plot inspires Goldsmith to score propulsive score for low strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion, piano, electric keyboards. Cool architecture of score has primary theme appearing throughout, but in complete form without embellishment only during 'End Titles', and here only as quiet understatement for woodwinds, percussion. In elaborated form, theme plays in overt manner with humorous slant during clothes-burning sequence ('Fire Sale'), elsewhere as brief melodic fragment. While score has numerous highlights, getting spotlight are rousing rhythmic action ideas when story moves from Italy POW camp to German sequences. Here, Goldsmith hits hard with incredible display of snare drum, punctuated by aggressive trombone figures. Dynamic in stereo! Also on CD is cool, vivid jazz-infused score for lurid Gordon Douglas cop thriller THE DETECTIVE with Frank Sinatra, Lee Remick, Robert Duvall. Goldsmith anchors with trumpet line for 'Main Title' but gives considerable attention to warm treatments, other variants. Both scores appear in stereo from recently remixed, remastered elements courtesy 20th Century Fox, with VON RYAN'S EXPRESS offering generous amount of never-before-released music. Flipper cover, designed by Joe Sikoryak, allows listener to feature either soundtrack on front. Full cue assembly, musician's list inside booklet, informative notes by Julie Kirgo accompany as well. No you don't-and my post was not a threat at all, just a statement. Besides, I'm sure you support the labels buying the CDs. But others don't.

I DO think about them. My point was just : posting new releases too early is not a good idea, IMO. Period.

I want you to know that I fully support the labels and buy when I can. It's wonderful of people like you to post them as many are limited releases and by the time some have the funds to buy they are gone or they sell out quickly before we now of the release. I have been the first to post some titles here and have been very grateful that I have been able to collect many that are no longer attainable. This is one release that I really wanted and so thank you.

As a compromise to those concerned you might want to private message the link. I do this for most of the stuff I post just to avoid any hassle though I know it's a hassle to answer all the PM you get. I still don't mind as so many really appreciate it. Keep posting. You make it possible for people without a lot of extra money to keep up their collections and enjoy this wonderful music.
