Final Fantasy 8

Hey everyone,

I thought it would be neat to start doing a play through of Final Fantasy 8 by doing the No-Level Challenge. I know it's not the most difficult thing in the game, but it should be fun :). What I think is going to be cool is that I'm going to be live streaming my play through on Twitch TV. I'm part of a Facebook group called FamicomFlashbacks, and we are trying to branch out onto other mediums like Twitch.

It would be really cool if any of my fellow FF8 lovers, like yourselves, could come out and join us during the stream. We actively chat with the viewers in real time, so you can ask us any questions you'd like. If any of you have tips for the No-Level Challenge, it would be great to get your input. We're doing the FF8 streams on Thursdays and Fridays from 7-9 pm EST, but we stream on Wednesdays as well (usually something else like Chrono Trigger).

Hey, everyone!

We're back again this week with our Final Fantasy VIII No Level stream. Last week we were able to get through the Dollet Mission while also defeating X-ATM092! All of that without leveling once, even Seifer. We plan on continuing tonight and tomorrow at 7pm EST - 9pm EST. We're likely going to be doing a lot of card games and Carding of enemies for AP, but we would love to have you all there for a chat.

How can the "No Level Challenge" even be considered a "challenge"? If there's no challenge then what's the point?

IDX, I'd like to think that even if the game isn't as hard as normal, it's still particularly challenging to keep your characters low level while still going for as close to 100% as possible. Omega Weapon on No - Level? That should be fun! We like to think positively :).

Hey everyone,

So it's been a few weeks since I wrote on here, but we're still going strong in our No Level play through of VIII. We just did a bunch of side quests to get Odin, Chicobo Card, Shumi Village, etc, and now we're moving into the final transition of the game. We're going to be playing again tonight and tomorrow from 7 EST to 10 EST. I would love it if we got some turn out from here, because this is such a great community .
