Come on....No matter how "manly" I try and act, I was touched by the ending FMV. So who else is gonna be honest I wonder...

the ending was sweet but i think the first time i beat the game all i wanted to see was HIM at the end, so thats all i was waiting for. But the whole ending including nooj, Baralai, and Gippal speech was great.

Sorry, I haven't beaten the game yet. Don't like FFX-2 enough to keep playing it.

To be honest, i thought the ending was well.. alright. I haven't seen the "perfect" ending, but i have heard what it was. I did see the good ending though, and it wasn't that great. It was happy..

On the other hand, in FFX, i did have to fight the tears. That ending was so emotional and sad. FFX-2 on the other hand, was more happy, than sad. In my opinion

Yeah, there are definitely some tear moments in the ending. "It all began when I saw this sphere of you." And then that wow moment when Nooj, Baralai and Gippal bow their heads and everybody's all silent and amazed. Oh, and how about if you get the Normal Ending Extension, instead of the Good or Perfect Ending. That's definitely strong stuff.

The normal end extension? I never heard of that one, how do you unlock it?

Listen, Ive been a great fan of the FF games since i played FF7.But FFX is the best game ever in my opinion. I fell in love with all the characters, and I think theire the best characters to ever appear in a game, movie or even a book. FFX was so emotional, I had to fight back the tears when I learned that Yuna was going to die when she performs the final summoning. Who can ever forget the scene where Yuna makes Tidus laugh at Luca?
But In FFX2 something went horribly wrong. Yuna changed so much and in my opinion she and rikku were plainly childish throughout the entire game. I didnt want Charlies Angels, I wanted a sequel to one of the greatest love stories ever. I cried my eyes out at the end of FFX, but FFX2 was a total dissapointment. Why do you only get to see Tidus at the verry end of the game? Why dont you get to play with Wakka, Kimari and Lulu? THeire such great characters, but Square-Enix decided to leave them in the dark for the highly acclaimed first true FF sequel. The story was also verry dissapointing for me aswell. Why did Yuna have to change so much? I loved her in 10, shes my favorite character overall... And the emotion that was carried throughout FF10 was shatterd by corny cutscenes, tarty crap pop music and useless character interactions. THe only time that I was really moved , is when Yuna sang a thousand words. Im verry dissapointed in Square-Enix for doing this to these characters, and worst of all, were never going to see them again. Never. If anyone would like to talk to me about any of the FF games, please e-mail me at [email protected]. I really miss the real Yuna...

I cried. Yes, I am a girl, but that is beside the point. What I really want to see is the 100% ending. When I saw Tidus come back though, it couldn't hold the tears back any longer. I just let them out, and my brother and friends found it kind of wierd that I cried because of the ending in a game. I also cried at the end of FFX. I wasn't ready for him to leave yet either.

I completely agree!!!I really wanted to see what happened to Tidus. The whole story got changed into the whole thing about Shuyin and I never got to see Tidus cause I can't get 100%. It was a dissapointment.

OK, I am a guy, but comfortable with myself so I can admit to this. I have cried at sooooo many moments in FF (only FF tho for some strange reason), starting with VII... I've finished that game too many times to count AND I STILL CRY AT THAT BIT!!! VIII, didn't... at all........ IX, I was emotional in the last FMV, and I probably would have cried if it wasn't for the fact it was spoilt by Mr. Cloaky. FFX, I cried not once, but twice in that game... When Tidus and Yuna kissed (don't ask me why but I did), and when he left...... And X-2 I cried at the end, again... I'm soooooooo gay... I need to stop crying at FFGames... LOL

and I never got to see Tidus cause I can't get 100%
Gah! You don't need 100% to see Tidus! You don't even need 50%. It has nothing to do with percentage. All you have to do is just complete a few basic requirements to activate the Good Ending and you will get to see Tidus. It's all described in the pinned thread at the top of the forum. (Sorry for going a little crazy there. It's just that I'm tired of all the false requirements for the various endings.)

The first time I almost cried, because I was disapointed. I only had 70 % and I expected more. :(

The second time I played it, I was fighting with my tears, because I had 100 % (the perfect ending) and I loved it. Thats how the ending has to be..... I almost cried, because I finally got what I wanted see. ;)

i didnt get 100% on this game because i gave up because i jusat didnt like it. something was missing i still aint worked out what...maybe its the fact that there are no Aeons. yeah i know that there was no Aeons because of hat happened in FFX but its still a disappointment. .... Im not talking about the Dark Aeons on FFX-2 i wanted aeons that you could summon your self

The 100% ending OWNED the regular ending. Though neither had me fighting tears, the 100% one would be the close one.

*SPOILERS*

Specially when Tidus starts crying and you them running towards all their friends on the beach.

was that the 1005 ending? i got that for the good ending must have a crappy copy of the game or somethin

Agent0042
06-15-2004, 03:50 PM
No, AKIRA150, you're correct. That is the Good Ending. The Perfect Ending, which you should get if you have 100% and activate the necessary stuff, includes both that and a bonus segment that isn't an FMV.
