I'm definitely buying a copy to support Tadlow and Prometheus considering the effort and expense they've spent! Thanks also to the reconstructionist Leigh Phillips who had to do this by ear since no written music survived for this great score!

Finally had a chance to listen.... and WOW! This is a fantastic score! Yet another Goldsmith gem! Definitely going to try to throw some support towards Prometheus. I have to say, I really miss the master. I wish we had a few more years worth of original music from him.

There are still other completely unreleased Goldsmith scores but this was the most recent unreleased one. Unless you count some rejected scoes. I hope they do his first film score, Black Patch (1957), next plus maybe his third film score (also western and also lost tapes probably) Face of a Fugitive (1959). Go Tadlow!

Never even heard of this film.

My parents took me to see it when it came out. All I remember is how boring and incoherent it was. If the score is as good as y'all are making it sound [downloading it now, thanks you for the post!], it will be further proof of the two laws of soundtracks:

1. There is zero correlation between the quality of a movie and the quality of its score.
2. Goldsmith is God.
