hey, dont know if you've seen my "how good are you" thread in ffVII, but heres another one, only its a bit different.

TIME: 25+ hours
LEVEL: only 13
AREA: Balamb garden, right after getting ifrit, but before changing into uniform
WEAPON: punishment(incase you dont know, its squalls best weapon besides lionheart)
ITEMS: couldn't tell you, i have so many from the card game
RARE CARDS: Quistis, Ifrit, Trauma, Shumi Tribe, Mini Mog, theres more, but those are my best.
MAGIC: 99 of everything possible at that point in the game

I'm still going at it, approxamitly 40 more hours before I'm done, if I get enough of one card, i can get Quistis' ultimate weapon...before I get Quistis(I know she has to be in my party to recieve weapons, so right when i get Quistis)

If you can beat that, tell me bout it!

Most people don't spend 25 hours between the beginning of the game and beating ifrit. Is the goal here to stay at a low level, yet get everything that you have in a small amount of time? I don't think a lot of people are going to be able to beat that, then. Maybe hour wise. 25 hours seems like a lot.
Oh, and why do you only have 99 of everything? Lol, I'm just messing with ya.

not really actually, believe it or not, i enjoy it, i have such great pride in my insanity

I am level 100 on all characters and have there best weapons and max stats, all magic possible junctioned at 100 (except apocalypse), all cards, all GF's, all sidequests done at level 100 and i am at the point before going into Lunatic pandora (i have completed the game before but this is my second try) call me insane i've been on it 99:59 hours i think, but i'm just a completist freak.

you can actually get past the 99:59 max. It'll turn red and start again from 0:00 if you play a while past the 99:59 mark.

Whoa if thats true then i heve been playing 99:59 hours exact. :shock:

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, completed the game already (basically i have already been to Ultimecia's castle and completed the game once, this is my second time through, and yes Lv 5 doom was annoying with Squall at level 100. :)

It takes a while for the clock to reset. I don't even know when it happened, but I do know that the clock on one of my games turned red and started over at 0.

I know that FFIX's clock will definitely reset if you go past 99:59. Never tried it for any of the earlier ones. Starting with FFX +, the clock can keep time higher than that, so you don't have to worry about it resetting, unless you go really nuts and play past 999:59, in which case, I have no clue if it would reset or not.

So...the topic was how good are you...

I'm at Ultimecia's castle, in the master room exactly. All Character's have all stats at 255 without junctions, except luck, eva and hit. I have 100 of all items that you can get. I have money 99 999 999 gil (i don't know if that's right, but maximum anyway). All cards, GF's, abilities... Characters and GF's at level 100 (of course! :)) and GF's have learned all abilities. I have chosen best 32 magics (32 is maximum number of different magics that you can carry) and every character have those at 100. And play time is 115:54 (the clock in the game shows 15:54, but it have turned red after going over 99:59).

So basicly...I have everything and I have done everything, that you can get and do in FFVIII. Except one little thing...I wonder if you can collect all cards (except rare cards) at 100. That would be challenge :) I guess that's what I'm doing next!

Did that a long time ago. Got Ifrit, Shiva and Quetzacoatl to level 99 and all of their abilitys maxed. I think I might have made it to level100 before going back to garden from Ifrit but can't remember.

How did you get Squall's punishment when there arn't any Chef's knifes around? Also how did you get Quistis's bets weapon when There are no Malboro tentacles around? 0_o

no you cant win them there in battle people have the cards and you chalenge them for it

Right, card game is the key. You can actually get Lionheart on Disc 2 if you mod the right cards from the card game and pick up some other important items.

i've got the game perfect and i pass it in 78hours and 23 minutes

Okay! lol after beating this game like 15 times i managed to beat it with all items, all magics, all GFs and all, christ i even have 100 fuel lmao, i beat it in 62 hours and 32 minutes!!!

I was so good it wasn't even funny. I had EVERYTHING !

All characters are lvl 100
100 of all magic
all GF's have all abilities and are lvl 100
so many items i dont remember
had all cards but turned a lot of them into helpful items
everyone has best limit breaks and ultimate weapons
saved right before ultimecia
all magazines
all characters stats are maxed out
Time was 100+ hours which equalled 3 yrs in the real world (yes i had no life for 3 years)

Man that was a great game.

Don't you just love when people make threads just to boast...lol. I'm on my way to getting max stats and what not. I'm on disk two (I'm at the point right before fighting Fujin and Rajin in Balamb) and all characters are at original levels. I have learned all the abilities for the GFs I have (Shiva, Quezacotl, Ifrit, Siren, Brothers, Diablos, Carbuncle, and Leviathan). Squall has Lionheart (Has had it sense disk one) and my other party members have had their weapons upgraded a few times. I'm at the point right before fighting Fujin and Rajin in Balamb. I swear this game is one of if not the easiest games I've ever played...with the juntion system it's really easy to get awesome stats. But it's still fun!
