i think eaver cloud or squall mainly cus there both gd leaders an hav cool first weapons!

My personal favourite would be Cloud. He may seem a bit 'fucked up in the head', but when it come round to it, during the majority of Final Fantasy VII, he kept the group together well and was a very strong character as well.

It depends on what I'm looking for in the character at the time. I liked Zidane's carefree personality in FFIX. Squall was silent but strong. I don't really know why I like Cloud but I do. Anyways' I think that I'll go with Zidane since he is freshest in my mind as IX is what I'm currently playing.

I go for Tidus.

I liked the way he is just a cry-baby who's trying to survive in the whole thing. That made him so "human" even though he (spoiler) was just a "dream".


But my REAL fave isn't even on the list. It's Cecil Harvey from Final Fantasy IV. I just loved how he (spoiler) "renounced" his dark past and became the Paladin. He was flawed but still he remained a great leader and awesome warrior. The Paladin has always been my favorite class in Final Fantasy.

As far as personality I choose yuna. I think she is the best lead because of her independance and the way she reacts the different things Ive been a fan of yuna's charecter since X. But I think the most playable lead would be squall because of his limit breaks and stuff although I do not like his personality by a long shot. So I voted yuna for lead even though she cant sling a gunblade like squall!;)

I go for Zidane. He's the one who has the plan in his head all the time. Will go to great lengths to protect his friends.

You're all forgetting Locke, he was the coolest character from FF he was like Zidane but fresher in a way also he possesed the coolest line "call me treasure hunter or i'll rip your lungs out" i mean he just owned or whatever.

The crossdressing, lieing, confused clone. I couldn't connet to his character at all...probably why I don't like FFVII as much as most final fantasy fans, and enjoy FFVI more (I can see a little of myself in most of the characters --- but maybe not Umaro, or Gogo :P)


If I could, I would vote Other, because Ramza is just that cool.
