I don't know if anyone's started these threads yet. State the hardest game you've ever played long with other hard games and state where you're currently stuck at if you haven't finished. If you have finished the game, state where the hardest parts were.
For me.....Battletoads was by far THE HARDEST GAME EVER. So hard, still haven't finished it yet. Still stuck at first level!
Other ones:
Maximum Carnage - stuck at the level after beating Demogoblin, Dopplegander and Carrion on the rooftop. Had to use all the superheros tp get past the three of them lol.
Separation Anxiety - Stuck at the Fantastic Four Lab
Turtles In Time - stuck at Slash boss battle
Mortal Kombat - I can't play fighting games for s**t so really haven't got anywhere with fighting games. I did finish The Konquest Mode in Armageddon though, which I found quite fun. I was stuck of course during the one on one fights. I also loved the beginning of The Cliff level music with the woman. But the first like two times, I went back to try and get away from the attacker and ended up falling off the cliff lol!
As for the games I have beaten:
MMX - Aside from Sigma's 2nd form, the hardest parts were the bosses of the Sigma level - The spider, the two eyeballs that attack you, the car thing that shoots a big purple colored blast at you. Also had a tough time with Boomer Kwanger, but found Launch Octopus really difficult.
SMW - I found a lot of levels in this game hard and it took me many times to get through them. The castles/fortresses that have the wizard that keeps appearing to change one of the yellow blocks into something and then disappearing, those large spikes that comes down so hard, it makes a loud thud and shakes the game. Aside from the castles, the Special levels that you access after completing all the Star Roads. Some of the Ghost Houses were hard too.
Ultimate Alliance - The Doom battle was by far the hardest for me. Not surprising as the final bosses are usually the hardest for games.
Arkham City - Ra's Al Ghul, Clayface, and Grudy boss battles were the hardest.
Resident Evil 2 - the entire game was so hard, I need a walkthrough. Its not just the fights. The other things that are tricky like in RE2, puzzles or whatever that need solving or obtaining a certain weapon in order to progress through the game.
The Suffering - Really the same as RE2
