For you guys who are waiting for a re-upload (so did I till a moment ago), do this:
Download Hotspot shield at: Download Free VPN for iPhone, Mac and Windows to Access Blocked Sites & Surf Anonymously
and then install it, and when it's on it should work to download files from Gamefront

Hopefully this has helped you!

what is 'revised' in the revised versions?

Faleel

The music.

Well, obviously, Jackson did not think thikn the music fit the scene, or a new cut was made, and the original music did not fit, so Shore wrote a new cue, those are the Revised.

What's new or edited comparing to the complete recordings that are amazing ?

There are 22 bonus tracks not found in the Complete Recordings. These are mostly the film versions of some Complete Recordings cues, alternates of some edits on the single-disc releases (i.e. "The King of the Golden Hall"), and some instrumental versions (i.e. "The March of the Ents", "Gollum's Song"). There is also a concert version of "Theoden King" and a mockup/suite of the "Rohan Theme" - either of which are well worth the download.

The two revised Complete Recordings tracks are "Emyn Muil", which has gone from 4:15 to 4:49, and "Gandalf the White", which has gone from 6:48 to 7:03. Be warned that the latter has lost the introduction of Shadowfax - arguably the most exquisite music of the entire trilogy. It is found in the "(Revised 2)" version in the bonus tracks.

Thank you very, very much for the share.

Almost all of the Revised tracks are from the CRs. and Shadowfax introduction is not "lost" its just the original version (as heard on the OST), before shore revised it (as heard on the CR)

I always wondered why the OST didn't have that music.

In any case, "Peter Jackson Playing The Gong" (0:06) sets a new benchmark for completism! Thanks again.

I believe I have seen the LOTR slates in Doug's book/the EE DVD featurette's, but they use a different format than usual:

either "m4" or "9a" format.

Trust me, you can forget it. Weeks ago I have asked Faleel for a Fellowship link, it's been one month and he didn't answer me yet. And honestly, I don't think he will ever answer us (unless he has a problem with ME and only I haven't received a link). Now, I've asked myself a question: Why the fuck people put PM only if they leave their inbox full and don't check older threads?

Hi, I was reading the thread until the subject matter of LOTR's slates came up.

I was always curious to take a look on these slates, and now I want to know: what does slates like rotk 615 907 or rotk 926 1001 a1002 or mr190 729 817 actually stand for? Why did Shore prefer to use this complicated sequence of numbers instead of R1P1 or 1M1, 1M2, etc.?

I would love if someone answer me about those complicated LOTR slates. They're my favorite movie score of all time!
