Are there any tricks available to gain extra "large" amounts of Gil within this fine classic? I am indeed a greedy bastard and hate living on pesos when I can stuff my pockets full of Euros. and where the hell do I get the Knights of the Round materia?

To get lots of Gil moderately fast, master an 'All' materia and sell it, you get LOADS for 1.

As for Knights Of The Round, get a gold chocobo (look at Neo Xzhans handy Chocobo breeding guide if you haven't got one), and goto a island that is North-East, and is not on the map. Its called 'Round Island'.

Do the cloning trick then sell your items.

Knights of the Round is found in a Materia Cave. You need a Gold Chocobo though.
Just fight a lot of monsters and sell stuff.

Yeah All materia's that are mastered are insanely valuable and you are going to need A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! of money possibly if you want to get KOTR but you might not.

Assuming you're not going to use the W-Item trick, I strongly endorse the selling off a mastered "All" materia as the big money-maker. These master very quickly, especially if you use Double or Triple AP and sell for 1,400,000 gil a piece. Sell off just a couple of these babies and you'll have more than enough gil for chocobo breeding and everything else you need. Enjoy!

I got a mastered All materia, sold it, and lived comfortably of the profit for the rest of the game.

Put Wizard Braclet for all three of your party members, and any of their weapons with 8 slots with Normal gain. Sell a mastered "all", then buy about 48 "alls". Get some Elixers, go to the North Cave, and fight some magic pots. You'll be swimming in money in no time. If you don't wanna do that, go to Mideel, and just fight things.

As stated perviously, the selling of a master All materia nets you 1.4 million gil. Master two or three and you won't need to worry about gil any more.
I have a questoin tho... In Costa De Sol, you can buy a house from the guy who ooks like a bum. He sells it to you for 300,000 gil. Is there any purpose for this house, or is it just for braging rights?

The house is 100% pure bragging rights and just something neat to do. If you buy it and then go into the menu and check your location it will say "Cloud's Villa," or, if you named Cloud something else, then it says that. Oh, and you get the very, very small benefit of being able to sleep there for free.

Yes there ARE treasure chests in the basement but you can get those without buying the place so there really isn't any reason to buy it unless you want to do absolutely everything or you just have a crap load of gil.

Is there any way to talk to that girl that walks back and forth by the window waving or whatever the hell she is doing?
