You have to pay attention to absolutely everything.

And watch it all at once, if possible.

It's bloody fantastic, but one of the things that makes it so great is just how intricate the plot is.....

I'd recommend watching it once through, but if you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them.

Okay, lemme see if I got this straight *correct me or add more if wrong or not detailed*

Everything in Episode 9 pretty much explains a project and this one guy (forgot his name) that made this type of technology where some program dealie exists on The Wired but can also project a Human Form. The guy who did it originally had it for something else but the group that he was working for intend it to be for something uh.... good? :(

Lain is basically a thing that was created in The Wired but her human form was "raised" by a family. Eventually she found out that she had the powers to manipulate things and pretty much she acts almost like a god.

I think. :(

don't mind me asking but what channel and what time does this ........go on cause all my friends talk about it and I don't know what they're saying. One of my friends has it and she won't let me see it only for money but I'm broke.

So what's this one about anyway? I don't want the whole plot given away but can someone give me a previewish trailer or something like it. You know, like they do on the back of books, so I can see if it's something I'd spend money on.

Lain is so intensely complicated that it'd be hard to summarize.

But the opening premise is a girl, Chisa, commits suicide, and Lain recieves emails from her saying that she is not really dead and such.

Hahn, you've definitely got a decent grasp of things :)

To the best of my knowledge, Lain isn't on tv- when I first watched it, I bought all the vhs tapes because the back of the box captured my interest. I think that Tech Tv showed it once, though.

You should watch it agian in one sitting and pay very close attentin and never stop thinking. If you liked this series then I would also suggest watching Boogiepop Phantom. I though BP was even more confusing the Lain and better as a whole.

Wow. I always liked the character design for Boogiepop Phantom, but I'd never heard much about it, and I'm reluctant to fork over my hard earned cash for anime I don't know will be good.

But you've pretty much sold me. I'll definitely check it out. Thank you muchly. :)
