Seems like this is based on the music of this anime (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=7462). I wish this was 100% symphonic, but there are fine moments here and there. Thank you!

You're right. This CD is the only existing soundtrack of this anime (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=7462).
It's "near full" symphonic because even the two songs and some synth instruments are with the full orchestra behind.

This album has really impressed me, I honestly wasn't expecting an album of this caliber. Listening to this, I've realized of the importance of a THEME in a soundtrack, I wish most of the soundtracks today were built like this one, with a strong theme that serves as connecting thread throughout the soundtrack. It has much more impact this way.

Yes, this album this very rare and impossible to find nowadays. But music inside is also very good, a typical Japanese orchestra flavor soundtrack, I love it! ;)
