So why can't I play FFI-FFVI on my Gameboy?

I'd put out big money for each and every one. And to the best of my knowledge, the gameboy sp is as powerful as a SNES, so......

Why haven't they done it?

Because Nintendo sucks.

I don't think square's given them the rights. But i don't know much on how they market their stuff so i wouldn't be sure.

Square Enix markets their games to the most popular system.
Crystal Chronicles was an exception because it wasn't completely an FF.
Eventually they might bring them to GBA. But I doubt it will be soon.

Oh, by the way, Nintendo doesn't suck.

But GBA is the most popular handheld system.

Unless Square is waiting to see if the PSP is going to be successful, I just don't get it.

It'd make tons of money for the both of them.

Yes it's the most popular handheld system.
PSX and PS2 aren't handhelds.
Still, PS2 is more popular than GBA, but only by, like, 4%.
SquareEnix will always make it's games for PS. If GBA becomes more popular or tied, they may also make GBA FFs. They will most likely release FF1-6 for the PSP.

But for now, it's just PS2.
