It's basically the same as the standard OST with a few longer tracks and some bonus tracks (that aren't in the film). Roast Mutton doesn't have the "Misty Mountains" reprise, probably the best part of the track.

But you're forgetting Watertower released the Hobbit, which is about the most illogical label ever with their fucking fake 5.1 surround soundtracks and all... Also, why wouldn't the Hobbit sessions be out there somewhere? Trust me, WB won't give us a complete Hobbit score, that's a decision which requires logic and common sense, which they do not have.

You guys need to accept the fact that there are people higher up on the ranks than us. There are few people who know what Scorepranos does to obtain what he obtains. Hell, maybe it's his career. Indeed, but who is he/she? No one know! who can contact them? but in the end it's not legal to have anything, they haven't any permission to share it to (people like us) !!

We won't have the Sessions for every Lord of the rings movie, (The first Trilogy and the new trilogy). Only Howard Shore and Warner Bros. have them. Maybe in the future, but in maybe 50 or 100 years. The sessions for every movie has 9 hours of music, including the film versions, alternate versions and alternate arrangements. So, for the new trilogy, since 2015, like the first trilogy, they will sell the expanded edition for every movie and after that they will sell the complete recordings and after that they will sell "The Lord Of The Rings The Middle-Earth Collection" (just like Harry Potter Wizard's Collection) but this will happen in 5 years after 2015.

Maybe one day, La La Land Records, Intrada or even Warner Bros. Records will edit the whole music for every movie, but for now, just in dreams will see the sessions.
