This has been long overdue, its been over two years, but better late then never. The music was extracted,
presumably using the same method used to rip Halo 3 and ODST by searching for XMA tags in a Hex editor.
In short it was sort of easy, but tedious and time consuming. As this is the first time I've ripped and posted
any VGM music, the campaign portion of the rip was re-encoded in ogg, while firefight, which was re-encoded after the campaign
rip was uploaded, is in FLAC. I will not reupload the campaign rip in FLAC because I would have to redo the entire thing.

With that said this is the score to the last Bungie Halo title, so sit back grab a drink and enjoy.

You can grab Audacity and convert the songs to a format that will allow you to play it on your iPod.

Because I think the source material already exists in this format. So the the songs are as lossless as you can get (out of the Halo DVD).

E: I'm happy about this..when you hear the splitted up version of the official reach OST in comparison to the same in this release, you'll notice a lot of differences in the game's song! I'm glad I have these now too :)

A: The most convenient.
B: The first time I ever did something like this.
C: It saved me and you the headache of having to upload multiple archives and having to download multiple archives from a potentially slow file sharing website.

ShadowStrangle55 asked me the same question and unfortunately I can't. When converted the file is an uncompressed wav which is over 2 gigs for each campaign level. There is no way to do it, plus much like OrangeC's ODST rip the audio is sped up which meant I had to find out what the right speed was which was also a pain. Another thing too was audio clipping, sometimes the audio would cut out at all the wrong places which meant I had to zoom to the lowest level possible to see where the cut off was.

It took me a total of 3 weeks to do everything here. I wish I could have done it differently but I put a a lot of love and time into this project and even now I'm still a bit peeved, it could've been better.

Is it possible to reupload on mega or another site? I'm unfamiliar with packupload and whenever I try to download the file it says "you must wait befor(sic) downloading this file" even though I waited the 15 seconds or whatever. I even made an account to see if that would fix it, to no avail. To be so close to a good complete score of this game.. and yet so far.
