Poppoya (鉄道員 Poppoya or Tetsudōin, literally Railroad Man) is a 1999 Japanese film directed by Yasuo Furuhata. It was Japan's submission to the 72nd Academy Awards for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, but was not accepted as a nominee. It was chosen as Best Film at the Japan Academy Prize ceremony. The film was te 3rd highest grossing film of the year in Japan.

A railway station-master at a dying end-of-the-line village in Hokkaidō is haunted by memories of his dead wife and daughter. When the railway line is scheduled to be closed, he is offered a job at a hotel, but he is emotionally unable to part with his career as a railwayman. His life changes when he meets a young woman with an interest in trains who resembles his daughter.

Yes please Akashi-san, I don't seem to have that version. I've been to concerts by Ryūichi Sakamoto and his former wife Akiko Yano in London and Japan (their daughter sang track 6 here).

Hi Judy, I just spotted your post. The file name will be ...Railroad Man, so it should be at the start of whatever you downloaded. I usually created a folder first with the proper film title and then download directly into it. Please PM me in future otherwise I might miss your question. Hope this helps.
