This is an enjoyable score which Barry makes a tribute to the imaginary of the film noir in a series of variations of this jazzy main theme, written for piano and clarinet. It's a short score and half of it consists of source cues, but what little is left is great if you like this style of music.
Curious is the inclusion of Chinese intrumentation in a couple of tracks. I haven't seen the movie, but the booklet mentions that the story takes place in a Chinatown, so i guess that was the reason.
