Recently got hold of a mint, factory-pressed CD of this for under $10. If you haven't heard it before, I highly recommend this classic 80s score. It's just plain fun.

Thanks & you're welcome! Yeah, De Niro has been trying to get a sequel going for years, but Grodin is an old curmudgeon. I think he's actually been an old fart his whole life, but now he's wealthy enough he doesn't have to pretend to like people anymore. He refused to even fly to California for a single day to do a cameo for The Muppets. Just a punk. There's always been good arguments against a sequel, but had it ever happened, it would've been great to get Elfman on it.

One of my favorite movies like EVER. Thank you a thousand times...

A fun score to a great comedy.

OMG! I LOVE this score, probably because of how much I love the movie. I own this on LP - I bought it way back when it was first released. I had to hunt down a CD version years later; got it off of ebay I think. I've never heard Elfman do another score like this, using a band instead of an orchestra. Thanks for sharing it - more people should be able to appreciate this one.

I always thought the end credits song (Try To Believe) was performed by Elfmans band Oingo Boingo.
Actually it is oingo boingo, only for the movie they used the name Mosley and The B-MEN (because of the character agent Alonzo Mosley)

Great share! Perfect score for a perfect movie; only one fault in this release, imo - they didn't include original end credits instrumental,
which is slightly different mix of "Try to Believe" with longer intro. So I've cut it from the movie for all you lovers of custom bonus material, with dialogues and all :)
