Golden Sun was probably the greatest RPG I've played on GBA and it's music truly enthralled me. There are many rips out there but all have their defects. Scratchy audio, hisses and pops, echoes, they detracted from and ruined the amazing soundtracks. So I took the 2sf files, ripped it in the best quality on FooBar and uploaded them. Here you are, guys. THE definitive soundtracks from GS 1 & 2. I won't upload the 3rd because that's already had a great FLAC and MP3 release. Enjoy!

Teddy, all the links I've posted before from months ago are still up. So Mediafire is the best option for me right now. I have 4 files left to upload and then I'll post the links. And if there any problems downloading the first archive or something, just sign in via facebook. Always does the job for me when I'm downloading other people's archives.

Mediafire is not a good host (NOW) to share the files and im afraid you may lost in a few days all your uploaded things to Mediafire... Believe me, the same happened to Orie, to me and a bunch of people here. And its not a matter of login with Facebook or any other thing, that will work in SOME places, others not and its not sure a 100% working method. At SOME time the files will be unaccessible, some days pass, and the files MAYBE be online again and after several tried MF will block the link for the machine 4ever. �Not a problem? We will se when this happen several times (And after some downloads), the link magically dissapear. Simple as that.

The Facebook trick wont do the magic all time, maybe in some countries/places will work a lot of times, and in others wont work. And in the ones who worked in the past wont work the next time, etc. �Understand me now mate? ;)

Well, there are options to circumvent that limit, one being, like I said, archiving a split archive in another one, using 7-zip for example. Another option is to select a number of tracks until you reach a filesize no bigger than 200mb, and packing those in a RAR. Plus, MediaFire isn't the only file host out there; you can easily try others like Zippyshare and Sendspace, even GigaSize if you aim to upload large files, as they allow uploads up to 10gb (although free users can only download up to 1gb).

By now it should be common sense not to upload split archives to MediaFire. It's a waste of time.

And I agree with Teddyb3ar, you have nothing to be apologizing for.

One last suggestion, even though it falls in the nitpicking category, is to organize them in different folders, based on game and format for each. It's pure nitpicking, like I said, but helps keeping everything less confusing.

I've never really cared about track numbers so I don't bother with them.

The file you attempted to download is an archive that is part of a set of archives. MediaFire does not support unlimited downloads of split archives and the limit for this file has been reached. MediaFire understands the need for users to transfer very large or split archives, up to 10GB per file, and we offer this service starting at $1.50 per month.

I would re-up to MediaFire, making sure not to upload as split archives, but if you're sill looking for another service, Sendspace or Zippyshare would do the trick. For this particular juncture Mirrorcreator also works.

Mega.co.nz is good for people who have Google Chrome, other than that use SendSpace.com or DepositFiles.com they're both nice.

Not to shoot down Lockdown's post and recommendations, but if anything, avoid MEGA (at least for now). Zippyshare and even GameFront are better options over Depositfiles.

I said it was good if you had Google Chrome, if not then it's a bad choice. Yes I love zippyshare and peejeshare is nice too! Same with gamefront.

People, I am reupping to Depositfiles. The good thing about this are that there will be no split archives, just one link for each soundtrack. Unfortunately, you can't download the other links at the same time as with MediaFire. But be patient and you'll catch 'em all, in the words of Pokemon. I've used DepositFiles before and it has very reliable downloads.

In the first post, do you mean sf2 + midi files ? I think it is not 2sf files (Nintendo DS files).

Got the music files straight from Zophar. Gsf is what I meant.

The only trouble with these GSF is a little click-like sound at the beginning of every song. Otherwise I'd say this rip is perfect (just for this typo isn't :( )

There ARE no missing instruments. I even listened to that desert heat track in the forum and my rip has all the instruments in that.
