Saw this (Thread 82158) thread and since it seems that nobody posted this soundtrack, I decided to do it. Enjoy.

Goldenthal is almost never boring, and this rare score certainly isn't an exception! Like most Goldenthal scores this one has a troubled history, the composer being forced to record in both LA and NY and piecing everything together at the last minute. Nonetheless, it's an interesting study as many of the effects used in the scoring process would later go on to feature in later Goldenthal efforts, including that weird metallic groaning which would prominently feature in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. I'd highly recommend it to Goldenthal fans, although others hoping to get into this fantastic composers work may be better finding another of his slightly more digestible works.

From Goldenthal: "Demolition Man", "Sphere" and "Final Fantasy" are really favourites form me, and rare to get them in lossless.
Thank you.

No, unfortunately, and it's very likely that it'll be a loooong time until it does surface, if at all. Sphere's score had a very curious production, being recorded in two seperate venues in New York and Los Angeles. Instead of paying reuse fees to both orchestras, they opted to instead use only music from one venue (hence why this album is so short). This also makes the release of more material a logistical nightmare. I'd love to hear some more music from this fascinating score, but honestly, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Thanks for the share. Just saw the film again since it came out, and man is it awful. Surprisingly, a lot of times the score got on my nerves because of how loud it was, but it had some other parts that I think are worth a re-listen. Final Fantasy, Alien 3 and Interview with a Vampire are still my favorite scores of his.

I've been listening to this off and on since I downloaded it, and it's actually better than I remember it. I don't know if it just plays better on album, or because there's only half an hour of music they kept most of the thriller music off of it, but I quite like it. Sounds like quintessential Goldenthal to me. I can definitely see this becoming one of my favorite scores of his.

Movie still sucked ass, though.
