Robert De Niro and Jane Fonda, you might think that this has to be a great movie, but it isn`t at least for me it was too slow.

Of course we are not acostumed to see De Niro on this kind of roles, but the score is very good i also have the original cd, one of my first ...

I saw the film when it was released in theatres and liked it a lot. Yes, it is very slow but even for a character driven drama like this it is still a very special film. john williams score was always a favorite and I still have it on vinyl. I would love to listen to it again and since the LP is not here I would love to get the links for you. Thanks for reminding me of the film and the score tonight.

I just loved the score! And it is extremely rewarding to actually go back in time and track the seeds of William's today's creations, and perhaps get a glimpse of what is going on in his master mind... You can really see how consistent he is with musical patterns and motifs, how meticulously he searches for the right cords for the right sound and how ingeniously he evolves his themes... Absolutely stunning!
