A little introduction for all of you non-connaisseurs: Angelique is a long series of dating sim video games focused towards female audiences, you know the reverse of Tokimeki Memorial, indeed, Angelique is considered to be the first of its kind and likely the most successful one too. The album I'm posting contains arrangements of the music of the first games published by Koei for any platform, so you're listening the musical roots of this long-standing franchise.
The album is very eclectic, all the tracks (except one) are instrumental, but they cover all kinds of different styles and ensembles. The sound world of this album is something to behold, just look at the musicians credited on vgmdb page, it's impossible to get bored listening to this. The flow of the album is remarkable too, some of the tracks are linked and that's something unusual for an album which consists of short pieces.
In short, I recommend this album to anyone that enjoys intrumental music well performed and with curiosity about Angelique's games.
