Actually, if we're going straight by terms...

That one is the OST.

Better than nothing until someone posts/shares the one you want.

Well, it turns out I happen to have this. To be perfectly honest, I don't remember where exactly I got it from, as there are no tags, other than filenames, present in any of the tracks, as well as there's no readme file or some type of identifier.

A quick search didn't yield any proper information about this release, so is it an FYC or something close to it? I'm willing to share it so long as it wasn't distributed by Varse Sarabande, which doesn't seem to be the case.

What format is it in/quality? It's a complete score I'm pretty sure. 'The Iron Giant' was Released: Aug 24, 1999
℗ 1999 by Varse Sarabande. Could you please message me a link to download this?

Actually, the US release of the score is distributed by Varse Sarabande. I simply would like to know the origin of this release given the Internet hasn't given me any proper information about it.

Perhaps someone that frequents the film and television music download board could shed some light on this release...

Yes, that's essentially the first hit you get in Google, but that's not exactly what I mean by "proper information".

I know I'm being a nag, but I like to have as much information as I can about something before sharing it; I'm a stickler for it.

But, IS it possible to get this from you? I'd be very interested.

I just think it's labeled as a Complete Score. Because, I doubt this was released on a CD.

I wanted to verify with Jessie first given the circumstances, so yes.

I'll have it up and ready soon.

Okay, here's the thing: this "release" is a dupe. This is basically a "deconstruct" of the official score seemingly making it appear longer due to the number of tracks...and gratuitous name changes.

Here's the breakdown using the official release as reference:

01 The Eye of the Storm (Prelude)
02 Hogarth Hughes (same)
03 Into the Forest (Into the Forest/The Electric Station)
04 The Giant Wakes (First Encounter)
05 Come and Get It (Back to the Forest)
06 Cat and Mouse (New Friends)
07 Train Wreck (Train Accident)
08 You Can Fix Yourself? (Auto-repairing)
09 Hand Underfoot (Lost Hand)
10 Bedtime Stories (Comics/An Outing)
11 We Gotta Hide [0:27] (Hiding)
12 We Gotta Hide [0:28]/His Name is Dean (Meeting Dean)
13 Eating Art (Art-Crab)
14 Space Car (Playing)
15 Souls Don't Die (same)
16 Contest of Wills (Hogarth vs. Mansley)
17 The Army Arrives (The Army)
18 Annie and Dean (same)
19 He's a Weapon (A Walking Weapon)
20 The Giant Discovered (Discovering the Giant/First Fight)
21 Trance-Former (Transforming/The Bomb)
22 No Following (Sacrifice/In Memoriam)
23 The Last Giant Piece (Finale)

In other words, if you already have the official release, you have the complete score.

This truly was a waste of time, but at least it was an excuse to watch the movie again.

Does anyone happen to have the soundtrack for the movie James and the Giant Peach? In FLAC only, please.

Wrong thread?

Compare the run-times.

Like I said, this "complete" version is nothing but the official release taken apart into separate tracks. There's nothing to compare, they're the same.

At least now this can be laid to rest, and for anyone that asks for it in the future can be redirected here.
